You might be going through a tough time right now, but let me just tell you that problem can't stand against your answer. Your answer is found in the word of God. What is the word of God, it's God speaking to you. It's God informing you of what He has spoken concerning your problem, that's your answer. Understand this, God has already spoken your answer not your problem. And there's no problem that can stand against the word of God. Your answer is much more powerful than your problem. Notice Romans 8:2 says, "For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Notice the law of life makes you free from the law of death. What is death, it's the absence of life. Do you remember in Ezekiel 37 when he said the hand of the Lord carried him out in the spirit of the Lord and set him down in the midst of the valley of dry bones and God asked him, "Son of man can these bones live". Notice what God said to him, "Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord". Notice what God was doing, having him speak life into those dead bones because He said in Johnn 6:63, that his word is life. Don't let dead situations hang around you without speaking life into them. God has already told you that death and life are in the power of the tongue. So speak life into that dead situation and the life of the word will cause that situation to change. Speak the word from your heart not just out of your head. Because it's a natural process, when the word is in your heart it will come out of your mouth and that's when things change (Matthew 12:34,35).
Well apparently the version of God called Allah was working overtime tonight...
” Speak the word from your heart not just out of your head.”
I agree, but I would change your message slightly to
say that in too many cases we have made a religion
of politics. Put God first and from your heart.
Believe it and change your heartfelt attitude,
and do that thing. You know the one.
There is a muddy spirit here that says, “Whatever
works or feels right right now.” There is no sense of
honor in that. Libya for those that even heard
of it from the conservative press would have
spread like wildfire and Americans would have
said, “no mas.”
Few would have lied about disability to keep the
money coming and would have moved their families
into a small apartment with a low-wage job to keep
from dishonoring themselves.
Few would have passed the keys back to their lenders
when they could have afforded to pay the mortgage,
regardless of their “under water” status.
Then few would have voted for an anti-American
communist.
But this would have required a faith in Christ from
far more people than we have today. Belief that God
is on His throne and so right makes might.
I (we?) need to repent from the heart and to be a
light shining in darkness again.
And yes, it’s not too late.
Um, you do realize that linguistically "Allah" is "God", right?
Christians were speaking it before the advent of Mohammed and his little book.
Well said.
Thank you very much for sharing that. I am a Christian, and my feelings are surprisingly 50/50. I felt tremendous anxiety before this election about what turned out to be the outcome, but I have more peace of mind than I thought I would. And then I see your post, and it talks to the other half of me that feels tremendously upset. You remind us that God’s word keep things in their proper perspective. Thanks again.
Oh really?? I didnt know that...but thanks anyway for your helpful tutorial on religion....it’s always great to have people around like you to clarify these things... /s/....
What tutorial on religion did I post?
Thank you Making_Sense [Rob W. Case] for reading this article. I’m glad you got something out of it. Thanks!
