Interviewer: What happens is workers who do speak out go through hell, theyre attacked
Ann Harris, former Watts Bar nuclear plant employee: A Living Hell. I was asked to leave my church.
Interviewer: What?
Harris: I was asked to leave my church because people that worked at TVA [Tennessee Valley Authority] just being seen talking to me
could cost people their jobs. Thats the kind of harassment that you can expect.
So many things wrong with this post...
Listening to the video now, but this smells wrong to me. Any worker at any nuclear power plant can bring safety concerns directly to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and retaliation from the company is strictly forbidden. That is written right into the Code of Federal Regulations, and every worker is educated on it. So far it sounds like a whiny old lady complaining about labor union misconduct. That would have nothing to do with nuclear power as an industry.
This sounds so totally kosher it isn't funny.
Could,mt find any thing to comment on.
