How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him (Acts 10:38). So first of all healing is good. And second sickness is of the devil not God. God anointed Jesus for the purpose of healing (Luke 4:18). Notice Jesus was teaching one day and it says, "The power of the Lord was present to heal them" (Luke 5:17). So God uses his power to heal not to make sick. And notice people sought to touch him, people came to him to lay his hands on them, they ran and got all the sick and laid them in the streets so that they could touch his garment, they decided they were going to receive their healing not God. That's why God supplied the power for their healing. They sought him so that let's me know that it's not about if it's God's will, but their decision to go and receive. Have you noticed that Jesus never prayed for God to heal someone. He never told his disciples to pray to God to heal someone, he said you heal them. They didn't have to pray to God for him to heal someone because they already knew his will and he already supplied his power. Notice Jesus told his disciples to pray, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven." Are there any sick in heaven, no, so God doesn't want any sick on the earth.
The blood of Jesus purchased your healing. Just as God wants everyone saved, he wants everyone healed they are both by the same blood. Can you imagine taking someone out to a buffet and paying for them to eat and then not wanting them to eat. And yet, that's how some people view God. He sent his only begotten son to purchase your healing with his blood, so why would he not want you healed (2Peter 2:24). Healing has to be received. Notice Jesus didn't just go to people they came to him to receive healing. Jesus was full of grace and truth and people came to him to receive grace from him. And that power is present today. That's why Jesus said it was good that he go away so that the Comforter would be sent. Now that power is present everywhere at all times. And God does not change, the power was present to heal then and it is present to heal now.
And he did!

And this has what to do with the subject of the post?
God wants all the saved in His presence, and it is purchased by the Blood of Christ, but hasn't happened yet.
God wants His Son ruling on David's throne, and it is purchased by the Blood of Christ, but our Lord is not on David's throne in Jerusalem yet.
If all the sick were well . . . it would be the Millennium.
God isn’t the author of confusion, but the post is confused.
God does allow adversity to take place in our lives. While the Adversary might intend it for evil, God is still able to use it for good.

Yes. He has brought significant healing to my life and continues to do so. However, there are times when He does not heal. Sometimes we pray for things and the answer is “No.” But we are always to pray and to trust.

Our Pastor promotes God’s healing power through His Son Jesus. He has opened our eyes to God’s healing power.
Isaiah 53:5(NKJV):
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
Note well: not “we might be healed, someday” — but “we ARE healed”. In His love for us and His death on the cross of calvary, He already purchased our healing. It’s a “done deal”. Healing is ours for the taking, if we simply in faith reach out and take it.

So, how do people who have the kind of faith that brings about God’s healing die?
There will be mortals and immortals (ie resurrected in Christ ruling and reigning with Him) in the Millenium.
Remember they talk about the man who died at 100 during this time and people will say he died so young.
besides at the end of the Millenium Satan leads a final rebellion, who do you think will side with Him? Not the resurrected in Christ.
Why was Paul not healed of the “Thorn in his flesh”?
Why do bad things happen to believers?
A better/higher view of God is required to hint at the answers to the above.
But this is a slap in the face of those with physical suffering. They have faith they claim the healing and this type of preaching would suggest they do not have faith. This is not only wrong but a stumbling block for others. Read some of the writings of Joni Earecksen Tada’s works to find out how this effects people. Her life is an amazing story of faith and inspiration while still suffering in the body. I put her kind of faith into my life on a daily basis.
So, in theory, our Charismatic brothers and sisters should never die.
Or wear eyeglasses.
Or have cavities.
Or any other infirmity.
We ought to see them strolling around a couple thousand years old.

For thousands of years people thought about flying, but did not. It wasn't until very recently in time that anyone flew. In all of time it was as possible to fly as it is now, but nobody knew how. An airplane must have all of it's components, plus fuel to fly. Take out any one of many important parts, or change them in the least, and it will not take off.
Faith, I believe, is like this. One must believe correctly, and live correctly, before Almighty God, for Him to answer you with mighty works, impossible apart from His intervention. To have faith, one must believe, and believing defies everything that one has experienced, or has known about the natural world and much of it's history. One, in all reality, must believe in God's ability, and His willingness to do works, that go way beyond our common understanding of how the material world operates.
Because not very many mighty, nature defying, completely unexplainable, apart from God's intervention, feats of faith have been seen or experienced, doesn't mean that they are any less possible then flight by man. It means that few know what it means to believe in God in such a way that He will perform them.
Because the flesh dies, does not mean the soul dies. We are souls; we have bodies. We may receive physical healing on this Earth, but it is the healing and life everlasting that matters most.
At 30 years old, I suffer every day. I have difficulty walking, lifting my children, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, grocery shopping, cooking, etc etc. It wasn't all that long ago that I could run better than a 6 minute mile.
But, I still count myself fortunate for the Grace of God....I should be dead. Save for the Grace of God, I survived having shrapnel blasted into my lung from an RPG. Save for the Grace of God, I survived being ejected from a HMMWV, walking into a building booby trapped with 3200lbs of explosives, walking down IED laden streets, and being in one of the most intense battles in which 25/46 guys in my platoon were wounded in the course of single day. Save or the Grace of God, I have survived four combat deployments.
While I suffer every day, I still have every day.
While some may question how that means I am better off by retaining this life.......my boys don't because it was after this that they received theirs.

No one is denying that God can heal - but, it is according to His will and purpose, not ours.
If you know the scriptures, you’ve read of Paul’s asking God to heal him of an infirmity - but, God said no to Paul,
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
You guys who preach that healing is a given if only you have the right kind of faith, live the right kind of life, if only you practice/understood real faith, if only you did this or that - you would experience healing.
You take Jesus’s words and twist them out of their context and put burdens on people making them think they are deficient in their faith, that they are the reason they are still suffering. That is sick and the Lord will rebuke you one day for adding to people’s suffering with your unscriptural teachings.
I think most charismatics mean well, but wrong is wrong and you are hurting people’s faith and their spirit, adding to their suffering. God does NOT HEAL everyone. Yes, God does, in His mercy, often heal, remove consequences that we rightfully deserve. God can do anything He wants, but He is not OBLIGATED to heal - that is up to Him.
Yes, faith is absolutely important and the lack of it can be a barrier to receiving all that God wants us to do for Him. Someone quoted Jesus’s words, “Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven”, saying that this means because no one is sick or hurting in heaven means that it can be that way on earth just for the asking, by faith.
That passage is not talking about that at all. The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, He gave them what is often called the Lord’s Prayer. That phrase, “Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven” is a request. It is a declaration of devotion and desire on our part, as His children, that God’s will be done on the earth, just as it always is in Heaven. This recognizes that not everything that happens on this earth may be God’s moral will - even though He ulimately works all things into obedience to His will.
An example of this is when Jesus was praying over Jerusalem in Luke 13:34 -
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!”
Notice Jesus says “how often would I have gathered thy children together. . ., and ye would not!” Jesus desired, He WANTED the people of Jerusalem to turn to Him in belief and obedience so He could protect them and save them, but they refused.
This may open a can of worms with our Calvinsit brothers, but that is not my intent or desire at this point in the discussion. I’m just trying to point out that not everything we want, even if asked in faith, in proper attitude, proper understanding, proper living of a holy life - sometimes God just says “No”. He has His reasons and He doesn’t always tell us what those reasons are.
Please, my charismatic friends, stop adding burdens and added suffering to those God choses not to heal - ultimately we will all be “as He is” in Heaven one day. Maranatha, Lord Jesus!
On this earth until Christ returns our bodies remain under the curse of physical death which includes ailments etc for it is flesh. Although sometimes healings do happen. It is the spirit that is healed and is set free and will inherit a new body in GOD's chosen time.
Adversity can be a tempering tool used to form GOD dependence to His Glory. The question has to be asked. Would Joni have accomplished what she has done and formed the ministry she has if the accident not happened to her? In her weakness we see GOD's Glory manfested. She has reached millions with very serious disabilities. Even in the past year to year and a half she went through yet another serious health trial.
