Freeper CharacterCounts has been hospitalized to have a serious cancerous tumor brain removed So I'm calling for all Michigan FReepers and other prayerwarriors to join in to help CharacterCounts pull through this tough time.
I just wanted to ping everyone to post number 60. FReeper Jeff Head has gone through something similar and maybe he has some words of encouragement for CharacterCounts.
Thank you for updating us. Prayers continue, may God bless you.
Dear CharacterCounts, I am praying that the God who made you be the God who heals you with or without medicine. Years ago I came across this poem and would like to share it. The author is purported to be simply “Mr Bishop”
What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot eat away peace.
It cannot destroy confidence.
It cannot kill friendship.
It cannot shut out memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot reduce eternal life.
It cannot quench the Spirit.
Fill your soul with what is good to crowd out what is trying to tear you down. We have your back, FRiend, and are lifting you up to the Great Physician. May you rest in the peace of His love.
Prayers
I will keep you in my prayers, CharacterCounts. Is your next step radiation? I have a relative starting whole head radiation tomorrow. Have faith, and stay strong!
Still keeping you in prayer, CharacterCounts.
Prayer bump
Lord Jesus,
Give strength to this man and heal him, to Thy glory.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Although I don’t know who or where you are, I’ve been keeping you in my prayers. I hope and pray that you are spending time with loved ones and the treatments are going well. If you see this message, please check in.
