Yes, this thread, are conservatives supposed to be for the 100 year effort of the Catholic church to do this to America, or against it?

I believe there is confusion by some between the Catholic Church’s position as it relates to providing life-affirming health care for all and the insistence by some that health care be provided/paid for by the government.

Apparently, some have no idea the extent of the Catholic Church’s long established healthcare complex, from hospitals, to hospices, nursing homes, etc. If, as they said they would, the Catholic bishops shut down all the church-related healthcare facilities, the US would be in very serious trouble.

Those Catholic Church-related facilities have provided scaled-fee or free services to the poor and vulnerable of any denomination for generations. And, they have provided the services far better than the govt could ever do.
