You stated the other poster was abusing Christ (shaming the “Gospel of Salvation”) by attacking Mormonism and the proven pathological liar known as Mitt Romney. How exactly is that so?
If Mitt Romney is indeed a liar, and if Mormonism is indeed a cult (and it is), exactly how would Christ be offended by posts that speak both those truths? And certainly those posters are no apologists for other liars like Obama. So how exactly are they shaming Christ, as you irrationally suggest?
If you ignore the question a second time, I’ll know your true reasoning isn’t religious over a worry for Christ, but are purely political. And that really is part of the outrage against Romney. We know that people will defend Mormonism, attempt to mainstream it, aid and abet it, all because Romney is the (disgraceful) Republican nominee. We all know that people are going to sell their principles out, defending lies, all for the sake of short term political profit.
That is one of the reasons why you see so much outrage against Romney, and so much force and resistance to Mormonism... because we know what is coming, and we know how unjust and how ugly it’s going to be.
This is a matter of truth being more important than politics.

When someone leaps to questioning your Christianity because you do not sign on to attacking the adherents of the ISM, THAT is abusing the Gospel of Grace, using the Salvation in Christ as a tool to try and squelch the person. And you know that else you would not be now trying to twist that into something else.

Milt is a liar. MormonISM is not Christianity. However, that is not what I was addressing, despite the hurrahs of your mischaracterization being 'brilliant'. You have purposely mischaracterized what I posted. And just so there is no pretend misunderstanding, you nor I can shame Christ, but folkks seem to think they are at liberty to try and use The Gospel of Grace as a tool for political attacks. If someone uses His Gospel as a bludgeon to try and shut up others who are speaking out regarding the misuse of the religion forum by trying to turn it into a political attack venue, THAT is what I was addressing.

I do not worry over Christ. I am offended by someone trying to use His Grace as if it can be welded like a political ramrod to shut someone up. How very alinskyesque to try and turn my disagreement with what I address as the problem with the way the forum is being misused, into an accusation of same against my posting.
