"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."John 15:13
As we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy each day, we recognize how they have followed in the footsteps of our Savior... And we give thanks.

Father, Thank You for this Glorious Day! Thank You for Your Love!
And Thank You for Our American Heroes! Supply them with the courage to face each day. May they trust in Your mighty power to accomplish each task.
Please fill the homes of their families with your blessings. We pray that Your Peace, provision and strength will fill all of their lives.
Father, Hear our prayer for all who have died, Whose hearts and hopes are known only to You... Comfort those who grieve the loss of their loved ones And let Your Healing be the Hope in all of our Hearts.
Implant Your Will within our minds, Lord, As we pray that Freedom will dawn.
In the Name of all that is Holy,
Hallelujah and Amen
"I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave."(Psalm 86:12-13)

Freedom is never free. It has to be fought for and guarded from one generation to another. No other people in history have ever enjoyed the freedoms we sometimes take for granted and rare is the nation that has ever fought a war to truly set another nation free. America has fought many wars to defend not only our freedom but to bring it to others. In all of history there have only been two people willing to lay down their lives for freedom— Jesus Christ and the American soldier. This is the day we pay homage to those Americans who have paid the ultimate price for freedom, though any day takes only a moment of quiet reflection to remember their sacrifice. God Bless them all. And remember to be grateful and pray for the safety of those serving today. And most of all give thanks and prayers for those young men and women who are at this very hour engaged in the fight, defending our freedoms and keeping our enemies awake at night. God Bless America.

~Remembering Those Who Gave All~
To Preserve Our Freedoms
~Memorial Day~ Flags today in tribute wave For those loyal ones who gave Of their youth, their hopes, their might For a cause they knew was right.
Morning bells sound their call, Pause and say a prayer for all-- All who served valiantly That men might be ever free.
Toll of bells, drums' slow beat-- Silence falls in every street. In each heart swells the plea: Keep us safe, but keep us free! ***

PRAYERS GOING UP FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON AND THE MARQUIS DE LAFAYETTE AT VALLEY FORGE
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
In like manner, let our prayers now rise for our heroes in the American military who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Amen.
SHADOWS AT ARLINGTON
Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
