The bishops still haven't woken up to the fact that the vast majority of "Catholics" in America are CINOs thanks to 40+ years of post-Vatican II catechetical and doctrinal laxity on the part of the same bishops who are now so surprised to discover that the left means what it says.

There's only one thing which will wake up the slumbering "faithful". Until the bishops start publicly excommunicating CINO politicians who support this (starting with Sebelius, Pelosi, etc.) it's all bark and no bite.

So far, Obama's judgement in calling the bishops' bluff is working.
