Here is the question.
Did you read this from other books and people or you read it just purely from the Bible only before you figured this out?
Meaning did man tell you this "tradition "thought lines first then you went back to the bible because they point out a said verse for you. You see not for you to understand from the bible only or alone to see it. In other words you went by others" traditions "on scripture to even declare what you are trying to declare.
Do you not see the irony of your own words.
Most people who claim this get it from others whether they admit it or not. I know I finally realized it myself. Then I read the bible unvarnished. Then you realize a Church was established which brought forth gospel writings and epistles that were addressed to the same continuous Church to show. Two thousand years! The Catholic church. Not too many churches claim this.

How it worked for me is like this: I could not find ANY way to accept any of the Christian tradition (not just yours, but Protestant too) without having to declare Jesus a false prophet and teacher. Try to prove your savior upon the Old Covenant - The Apostles did. Paul did. You cannot, nor could I. I can now.
