What sin is the baby supposed to be repenting of? The inherited sin of Adam, as declared by David "indeed, I have been wicked from my birth, a sinner from my mother's womb." (Psalm 51:6).
There are few creatures more egocentric than a human infant. They quickly learn that the world revolves around their every cry.
