It can’t be approved until the supernatural events revealed
at Garbandal happen. At present, the parish priest and
the bishop are positive.
And remember, the miraculous host appearing and St. Pio
was positive about Garabandal. Plus Mother Angelica believed but EWTN now, sadly, no.
One of the supernatural events, the Great Warning spoken of at Garabandal has been described by saints in history.
I always thought the criterion was when the events STOPPED happening — then the Vatican could investigate and approve or disapprove.
Until then the Vatican stays out of it.
