I had a Mormon co-worker who complained about Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” saying it was too bloody for her. I reminded her that the crucifixion was in reality quite gory. She responsed with something along the lines of “But they should never show that”. As I learned more about the teachings of Mormonism, her reaction seemed very true to her religion.

I wonder how Mormons explain:

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
Hebrews 9:22

To gain validity, non-christian cults MUST degrade core elements of Christianity for its membership. In the same way, mormons have substituted water for wine/juice in their "communion".

Easy! Christ's blood is NOT sufficient for some sins.

Only the SINNER's blood is, and needs to be shed!!!
