In prophecy - Jesus corrects people who misinterpret a particular Bible verse

Last night in my time with the Lord, He said these words to me: Tell My people that My love for them is great and everlasting.

Oh, My people, hear Me this day. Why do you still not heed My warnings? Time is short, My people. And soon I will not weary with you any longer but I shall pour forth My judgments upon the lands and peoples. And hear Me, My people. My judgments shall begin with My house. For there will be a great falling away as I separate the sheep from the goats; those that are truly Mine from those that are imposters. And I shall call My own out from among the heathen and the imposters and they shall be healed from their backsliding as I purge them through the fires of My purification. Oh, My people, hear Me this day. I am jealous for My bride. For My bride shall make herself ready as I take her through the fires of purification to bring her forth without spot or blemish. For I am a holy God and I shall have a holy people.

Oh, My people, why? Why do you not take My warnings to heart? Many are going to and fro with business as usual and not seeking what I desire. Each one seeks his own. Oh, My people, the days are short and very soon there will be distress of nations like never before. But I shall have a people that will be a light in a darkened and corrupt world. My beautiful bride shall do great exploits in ushering in her bridegroom and King. Oh, My people, how I desire that each one of you could be part of My beautiful bride. But not all that call themselves by My name shall take part as My bride. Only those that overcome shall be allowed to sit with Me on My throne to rule the nations with a rod of iron.

Surely I will reveal My truth to you. I love you, My dear children, and it is My desire that each of you share My throne with Me. But unfortunately only a remnant shall overcome. For too many have listened to the lies told by the false shepherds and prophets. THEY SPEAK OF HOW YOU EACH ARE ALREADY CLEANSED AND ADORNED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS SIMPLY BY YOUR BELIEF ON MY NAME. These are all lies, My people. For does not My word say that he who DOES righteousness is righteous? Yes, My people, you are made righteous by your faith in Me, but it is fulfilled by your obedience to My voice. IT IS NOT IMPUTED TO YOU BY A ONE-TIME CONFESSION OF MY NAME. Oh, My people, you have been lied to. Read My word for yourselves. Why listen to those that fatten themselves by fleecing My sheep? I have not sent many of the shepherds that are out there. They have sent themselves for their own glory and their own profit. Oh, My people, did I not say in My word to judge them by their fruit? Then where is the fruit, My people? Oh, but those that have itching ears care not about the fruit. They want to be told all is well and that they shall prosper if they simply believe on My name and My promises. Lies, lies, lies, I tell you.

Oh, My people, why do you not study My word to show yourselves approved? Why do you go about from doctrine to doctrine seeking what will make you feel good? Can you not see that there is no healing in the dead churches? Not healing of the physical body, but healing of the soul and spirit. This is because there is no life in them. For where My Spirit is there is liberty. Not liberty to gratify or tingle the flesh; but liberty from the flesh.

Oh, My people, how I wish to take you all with Me now into My chambers. But you are not ready and many of you never will be. For you do not test the spirits of those you follow and so you have chosen to believe their lies. I will and I shall have a bride that is spotless and without blemish. Do you take My invitation this day to come away with Me and be cleansed of all filthiness of flesh? Oh, My people, come away with Me and we shall ride together on the heights of the earth. For I shall rise with healing in My wings and I shall heal all that have called out to Me with a pure heart. I shall heal and I shall cleanse with My cleansing fire. Oh that I wish you all would call out to Me for My cleansing fire. For not many of you will, because your desire is for your flesh. But for those that choose to call out to Me for this fire, I will answer thee and pour upon thee both My glory and cleansing fire. And I shall purify you to be My bride if you do not shrink back. For I am now choosing those that choose Me and we will walk together and be one as I take each of you through My fires of purification. And My bride shall be purified and come forth refined as silver and purified as gold. And I shall be her God and she will be My bride to be shown forth to all nations. Now choose this day, My people. Will you let Me take you through the fires, or will you cling to the lust of your own flesh? The choice is yours, My people. For I am no respecter of persons and I offer this opportunity to all.

...We have to discern anything that someone says is a “Message from God”, because even though it may sound right, following that person can lead us down a wrong path. That is why the many Catholic apparitions are not approved by the church, they may sound good, but when you get down to the nitty gritty, they can lead you astray..

I appreciate you explaining, really. The message is true,
OSAS is a heresy and the “Altar Call” does not save
you, it’s about a conversion. Justification is life long not a moment in time, you have to be a doer of Christ’s teachings as Jesus said in that paragraph of the revelation, of course, everyone agrees less a few, the “prosperity gospel” is not of Christ.

No one is following Kevin Barrett. He is just the messenger, Our Lord’s words are sound like you shared.

The reason many Catholic “apparitions”...private revelation
haven’t been approved yet is because the Church is prudent.
They have to wait until the events revealed in the prophecy take place. Before that happens, they notice the current fruit, conversions, if the messages line up with Church teaching. There have been so many messages from Heaven,
Protestant and Catholic because we are close to the Great
Tribulation.

It is not that the original content that you posted didn’t sound good, but anyone that believes in Jesus could have said it.

I noticed, when I first read it, that it sounded a lot like the “interpretations of messages in tongues” I would hear when I was a member of AG for 18 years. It was mostly innocuous stuff that was in the bible. Interestingly, the one “prophecy” that was ever given there that was actually quantifiable, also turned out to be dead wrong.

This OP has some very nice biblical principles in it. Frankly, Satan included scripture when he tempted Jesus. But when I saw that remnant phrase, immediately Revelation 7:9. That is not a remnant.

In fact, considering that the bible takes pains to categorize the 144,000 just before it and even count the army from the east as 300,000,000, to then, in verse 14 describe the people as “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” and in verse 9 describe their number as “a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues” makes it clear it is a very, VERY large number of people.

That does not sound like a “remnant”. I causes me to throw out the rest of the so-called “prophesy”.

You’re talking about the verses in John 10. In the
message to Kevin, Jesus is instructing about false teachers
and false prophets, their teachings. He states it as
clear as a bell, he is revealing to you OSAS and the
“altar call” do not save you. And further, the “prosperity gospel” is a lie too. The “altar call” is a moment of conversion but you must persevere to the end to be saved. Our justification is past, present and future.

A person can change when they realize something they once
believed isn’t true. Pray about it, ask Him. Our Lord also said here, there’s only a Remnant who will overcome. It’s not your fault you’ve been lied to...Jesus says that too.

Two things...

Jesus’ “fires of purification” are happening now, this is Tribulation and “soon” during the Great Tribulation. It is prophesied to begin near the end of 2012.

The one sentence of the message you shared says a lot, Jesus speaks of choosing Him and that the faithful will all believe the same. How is that going happen? Prophecy and Scripture reveals, through the “fires of purification” during the Great Warning. The Great Warning is the Second Pentecost.

All souls on the earth will go through an NDE type life review. We will see our souls as God sees them. How painful but this is really God’s mercy, an act of pure love to save souls. The Great Warning, a “fire of purification” are the last verses found in Revelation 6.

We will wish the “rocks” to fall on us for some of what we are shown in our personal NDE like experience during the Great Warning. Heaven says and it’s Scriptural, we will not feel the pain of seeing CONFESSED sins during our life review.

Daily prayer and major, from the heart confession of our mortal sins is the way to prepare, well, it’s always been the means to living a holy life. True, we fall down, we -sin- every day.

You don’t like what the message says so you reject the
messenger. Our Lord calls three Protestant beliefs false.

He’s trying with love to prepare you to believe all He is
going to show you in the Great Warning (Rev 6:2-14, 1 Cor 3:13).

No authority to understand? The Holy Spirit is The Teacher.

Without a doubt John is pointing out confession of your sins. You can not even read it otherwise. He even includes himself in the Word "WE". This is some kind of "Mantra." You have it all like your in Heaven past the Pearly Gates and you can look back at the Gates like your in heaven. And the devil will not bother you any more.

You are still on earth.
