If A has nothing to do with B, then in no way can you say A implies B, that B implies A ... nor can you claim A must be used to prove B.

The fundamental truth of sola scriptura is the sufficiency of scripture.

Until you get that correct the discussion is pointless.

Do you suppose that’s all God wants you to have? Just barely enough?

He gives with both hands, offering untold blessings that sola scriptura flings back in His face.

Sufficient or not, it’s not all there is, and it’s not all that God wants you to have.

Catholics believe that the Bible is Materially sufficient while protestants are under the mistaken impression that it is formally sufficient. there is a huge difference there. Try and find out exactly what you are arguing against.
