Prayers offered for Scott for his recovery. Also, for your family.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers they are all so wonderful. So far the word is that though very low, Scotts blood pressure is stabilizing. I will post more as I get news from my Sister.
Prayers for God’s blessings on all. Through the intercession of John Paul II may God cure Scott.
prayers
Praying for Scott.
Look down, O Lord, in Thy mercy,
upon those who bow before Thy majesty;
that they who are refreshed by Thy divine gift may ever be sustained by heavenly healing and aid,
through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who livest and reignest,
with You Almighty Father,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God; for ever and ever.
Amen.
Thanks again for everyones continued prayers they are very comforting.
Scotts surgery was very rough but never the less a success. They took him off sedation for most of the day yesterday. While I was reading the posts from this prayer thread aloud to him, Scott started to become very alert, especially at Dogbert41s post #49, he began to focus and within the hour he was even responding to simple commands.
God Bless everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers.
Thank you, everyone again for your continued thoughts and prayers.
Scott is improving and even speaking a few words at a time. Yesterday, as we were going for the day we said a prayer and my wife Ann got out the Holy Water to give Scott a blessing. He has so much difficulty speaking but much to my surprise out came “Use lot’s of it!”
This morning for the first time since we arrived Wednesday he seems to be resting comfortably.
Rejoice and Praise God Almighty!
Jubilant at his progress. Heartfelt prayers for rapid and complete recovery.
In Jesus' name, Abba Father, Amen.

Scott had a minor setback yesterday and had to go back on the ventilator but the swelling is way down and the rest of his vital signs are good. He still has an elevated white blood cell count so it seems that there is still some infection that he is fighting.
Praying that this not the start of a downward trend and today will be much better.
Thanks for your continued prayers.
Scott has been on the ventilator since Monday morning as they continue his anti-biotics, he is heavily sedated but his vital signs look good. They are waiting for him to get a bit stronger before attempting another weaning test but the doctors are all hopeful that it will be this week.
Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
Prayers for Scott and family
Thank you for your continued prayers.
Scott is still fighting on however he has suffered a significant setback and is facing the added complications associated with shingles. Its likely that the infection in his lung is still not under control and there is a developing scarcity of the anesthetics that have been found to be most effective.
On the upside his kidneys are operating at 100%
Wednesday he opened his eyes briefly and caught me quietly praying the Rosary, Scott suddenly brightened up and nodded his head vigorously, yes. If you are in the habit of praying the Rosary, please remember to include Scott in your intentions. If you have ever considered learning to pray the Rosary, on Scotts behalf I humbly request that you make an attempt during this Lenten season.
God Bless you.
Thank you again for your continued prayers.
Scott has dodged another bullet and is once again stable however perched in a most precarious balance between life and death. They have moved to a split vent tube with a balloon that will prevent pressure on the stump of the airway that went to his right lung, this should prevent the leakage of air into his chest cavity. The bronchoscopy looked good and todays lung x-ray is a bit better then yesterdays. Scotts white blood cell count had gone all the way down to ten but has now skyrocketed, were not sure what to make of that.
Great Scott I am not sure how or why it happened but while Ann and I were visiting with Scott and his brother on the day we had to return home, we asked Scott if he wanted to live. He was still nodding his head no to a previous question and suddenly stopped nodding, we all fell silent and were afraid to ask the question again but I did and he vigorously nodded his head YES!
Your prayers are powerful and amazing, God Bless each of you.
Thank you everyone for your continued prayers.
Scott has had at least three more, serious crashes since my last update but has miraculously rebounded from each of them, his doctors are in awe. He is stable for now but on dialysis, we are hoping that his kidneys will begin functioning again soon.
I just wanted everyone to know that he hasnt given up and is still fighting.
God Bless
Prayers for all of you at this rough time.
Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.
Eternal rest, grant unto our dear brother Scott O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. May Scotts soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
Prayers for Scott and your family.
