James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
If they ask for salvation and then tell us that they wont know till after death isnt that wavering? If it is should they think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord?
I was thinking about the comment about James being for all Christians. If Catholics believe that it indeed does address them and use portions of James literally why dont they take the following verse literally?Another question about what Catholics believe from a poster who claims that Catholics are idolaters, that those who celebrate Easter and Christmas are pagans and that claims that the idea of church on Sunday is a man made tradition and apparently not either Christian or Biblical. Anyone care to try (again) to edumcate the self named "CynicalBear"?
BTW: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask OF GOD, that giveth to all men liberally,..." James 1:5.
There doesn't seem to be a command to ask of Mary, or the Saints...Hmmmm....
