Never heard of the “oneness” pentacostals. I’m referring to Pentacostal Church of God. Church of God believes what the Bible states.

Thanks for that circlecity. Scot -- There are various kinds of Pentecostals. There are the Oneness Pentecostals I referred to who deny the Trinity

then at the other extreme are more "orthodox" ones like the Assemblies of God

you also have the Word of Faith crowd like Benny Hinn (there are 9 gods) and Jesse Duplantis ("you have the power to live or die, God can't kill you" and "I visited heaven and comforted Jesus")

the thing is that pentecostalism is a very loose term. As I pointed out above, besides the non-Trinitarian Oneness Pentecostals you have the really way-out there "Word of God" folks like Benny Hinn.

Oneness folks -- at least the one poster I've interacted with on FR, give me a good impression of sane, believing folks. I disagree with them of course, but they are civil and reasonable.

but the Benny hinn and Jesse Duplantis and other con-men followers, well, they're just loony - many seem to believe that aliens from mars are amongst us and those aliens are genetically created robots created by fallen angels to lead men astray (yes, kooky, isn't it)

I of course do not hold that these wacked out folks have any theological similarities with others who call themselves pentecostals, but strangely enough no pentecostal posters ever call these guys out for those wacked out beliefs... but hey..
