The Most Important Video About Israel You'll Ever See!

Excellent, awesome video about the way God has kept His promises to the Jewish people, how He has kept them distinctly His people even through the diaspora, how He brought them back into the land He gave them, and fulfilled His promise to re-establish them as a nation.

A must see!!

I agree I love these interpretations as well. A recent one also was the final 3 are active today and the first 4 were in the past. We bride of Christ watchers are in the Philadelphia church. Maybe the 7 churches are types and layers.

Lera, your "pay close attention to what Jesus says are wrong with each of the churches and how he promises some of the FACT that IF THEY DON'T REPENT THAT HE IS GOING TO CAST THEM INTO TRIBULATION". Absolutely correct. Marbren, this goes with what I was talking about earlier, although Lera and I differ a little on the time of these churches. I DO agree that they existed at the time John wrote down what he saw. But I also contend that they will also be FUTURE churches operating during the tribulation. They have Christ's protection then, but IF they don't repent at that time, Christ WILL cast them into the tribulation, into GOd's wrath.

Thank you Lera.

Sorry! You were talking about Matt. 25:1-13, I think.:)

This is talking about the kingdom of heaven, not the church, as is stated in the first verse. See also Matt. 4:17. The kingdom from the heavens, literally translated, headed by Jesus Christ for the purpose of re-establishing the kingdom of God over this rebellious part of God's realm. Only found in Matthew because it is the gospel of Jehovah's King. It is a dispensation term and refers to Messiah's kingdom on earth. Offered by both Hohn and Jesus (Mat. 3:2;4:17;10:7). It was rejected so was postponed UNTIL CHRIST COMES TO SET UP THE KINGDOM.(Mt. 11:12.20-24;27:22,25; Lk.19:11-27;Acts1:6-7;3:19-26). The parables of the kingdom apply to Christ's earthly ministry, when Israel was first offered the kingdom ("Time Past"), and the "ages to come" the tribulation and the 2nd coming of Christ to set up the Kingdom.-Dake's Annotated Study Bible, p.3, column 4, letter J.

His 1000 year reign in the Millenial Kingdom is fascinating. Just what He will be doing and what will be happening on this earth. Makes for a great Bible study!

Anyway, to make a short story long...sorry about that! The parable of the ten virgins applied to the "TIme Past" dispensation, if Israel had accepted Christ as their Messiah, and it applies to the "ages to come" dispensation, not the present ("But Now") dispensation of the grace of God.

Wow smvoice,so much to absorb! All right there in front of us all the time.

I said on another thread that even if you could live a thousand lifetimes you would still never come to the complete end of God's word. The thought that any of us somehow need more than what we have been given in His word is incredible to say the least.

"They have Christ's protection then, but IF they don't repent at that time, Christ WILL cast them into the tribulation, into God's wrath."

The church that thinks it has everything is told to "...buy of me gold tried in the fire..."(Rev 3:18)

Oh yeah I agree some of those churches are here today and will also be here during the tribulation.

Jezebel - read 1Kings and 1Kings
She enriched herself by running an inquisition where she falsely accused others and stole their land . She taught the children of Israel to worship idols , she killed the prophets .

WoW Cool! Yes I meant Matthew 25. Many watchmen today are using this to apply to the rapture. Oil is the Holy Spirit Etc. Preconceived notions are being shaken again.

Now Are we the Bride of Christ? I say Yes because of Paul's writings.

Here is a tricky one:

Jeremiah 31:31-34 New International Version (NIV) 31 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. 32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to[a] them,[b]” declares the LORD. 33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

According to my old replacement theology days this has already happened.

Those who think they may be able to have a choice after the rapture are in for a rude awakening. I contend the tribulation will be a time of double predestination. In other words NOW, during this age of grace, is the time we choose to accept the gift of grace. During the tribulation God seals and chooses the tribulation saints.

About Jeremiah 31:31-34: "The days are coming..." "the people OF ISRAEL and with the people of Judah"..."This is the covenant I will make with the PEOPLE OF ISRAEL"...

Which, if the Nation Israel HAD accepted Christ as their Messiah at His first coming, would have happened. But we know that they, as a Nation, rejected Him. But we also know that He will return to set up His Kingdom. "THE DAYS ARE COMING"..

RIght now, they are blinded and set aside, but after the Body of Christ is raptured, God will once again deal with Israel as a nation. "THE DAYS ARE COMING"..THAT is when He will be their God and they will be His people. A nation of priests and a blessing to all nations.

The Church the Body of Christ replaces NOTHING in God's Plan. We are NOT a replacement for Israel. We are NOT spiritual Israel. Israel is Israel. We (the Body of Christ) are a mystery, hid in God, from before the foundation of the world. There is neither Jew nor Gentile during this time. A believer is a believer and is placed in the Body of Christ, in this age of the grace of God.

Jeremiah is prophecy, dealing with prophetic things concerning the Nation Israel. We are God's mystery, not made known until revealed to Paul. A sort of parenthesis in God's ongoing Plan. Acts, chapters 8,9,10 are the perfect example.

I hope that answers your question!

AMEN, marbren! 2 Thess. says that God SENDS them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. Because they believed NOT the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

What is your current speculation about what the raptured bride of Christ does during the tribulation and millennium?

First, we need to establish, by Scripture, who the Bride of Christ is.

Rev. 21:2: "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

This next verse also answers your previous question about Jeremiah: "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and THEY SHALL BE HIS PEOPLE, and God himself shall be with them, AND BE THEIR GOD." v.3.

Rev. 21:9 "And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, COME HITHER, I WILL SHEW THEE THE BRIDE, THE LAMB'S WIFE. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that GREAT CITY, THE HOLY JERUSALEM, descending out of heaven from God." v.9,10.

According to the Book of Revelation, Jerusalem is the Bride, the Lamb's wife. The NEW JERUSALEM that descends out of heaven from God.

The word Bride is used only 5 times in connection with believers (Jn. 3:29, Rev. 21:2,9:22:17). The word bridegroom is used 10 times in connection with believers (Mt. 9:15;Mk.2:19-20; Lk.5:34-35; Jn. 3:29).-Dake's Annotated Reference Bible, b 28-4; c303-4. (Notice none of these Scriptures appear in any of Paul's epistles, they are all from the Kingdom gospel, prophecy). All these passages refer to believers who will live in the New Jerusalem, which is the bride, the Lamb's wife. (21:2, 9-10).

Which leaves this age, the Mystery. We, as believers, will also live in the New Jerusalem, the Lamb's wife. But notice in all of Paul's writings we are NEVER referred to as a bride. We are referred to as the ONE NEW MAN.

"For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain ONE NEW MAN, so making peace: Eph. 2:15.

This also explains 2 Thess. Chapter 2. and who the "he" is that holds back the Wicked one, until "he" be TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY. (rapture). The Church the Body of Christ, the ONE NEW MAN.

As to what we will be doing during the tribulation and millennium, we know TWO things we'll be doing for sure: "Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?..." and "Know ye not that we shall judge angels?..." 1 Cor. 6:2,3.

This may be wisdom! For me it is easier to be ONE NEW MAN than a bride since I am a man. :)I do not know but, Thank God, God knows.

When you hear the rapture watchmen refer to us as the "Bride of Christ" does it cause you anxiety?
