Please, try and get over yourself.

All you have proved is that the people who are so enraged at, and against the LDS church on such threads as this are just like what they claim some LDS are doing in trying to silence others. I condemn it when the LDS do it...and I condemn it here.

As to me forever being disgraced and losing all credabbility at FR, given the emails and fremails I have received regarding this from the very small percentage of Freepers who have seen it...I would say again, that quite the opposite is true.

A small number of very vocal people who are against the LDS church succeeded in removing a post that called out an individual who compared the LDS Church to our nation’s enemies...the Islamics who want a world wide-calliphate and whose basic doctrine denies Jesus Christ as God’s Son and Savior, who want everyone to convert to Islam or die, or be ensllaved by them.

There is no comparison to that...and there was no qualification in the post doing so. I will call out such a comparison every time...and believe it to be an ochestrated attempt to marginalise and set up LDS people as the enmey, when any rational examination of the demogrpahics and beliefs shows that the very oppositie is true. I punctuate that the historical precedent for people doing this to others generally leads to worse things.

Shame on you, and thank goodness that most freepers who see it recognize it for what it is.

Again, beyond that, God bless you for your own belief in and faith in Jesus Christ. I share that faith and belief, irrespective of your saying and believeing that I do not. He is my Savior and judge and Redeemer...and I thank God in Heaven, His Father, everyday that He will aslo be my judge...which judgement I look forward to in His time.

Now, once again...I will strive to stay away from such a thread as this...the contention and anger are palatable and serve, IMHO, no good.

Yes, Jeff, I am one who is angry. It really ticks me off when otherwise good folks defend the sort of teaching the following teaching quote from The LDS Journal of Discourses reveals, because it is the spirit of anti-Christ out in the open yet defended by folks claiming to have God's Holy Spirit Saving them. If not by The Blood of Christ, then how?...

"We may talk of men being redeemed by the efficacy of his [Christ's] blood; but the truth is that that blood has no efficacy to wash away our sins. That must depend upon our own action." [ LDS Apostle Amasa M. Lyman, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 7, p. 299, 1859]

Given this mormonic teaching that is the very essence of Antichrist, it is still amazing folks claiming to be trusting in Jesus as their Savior will ignore such lies and defend such a false religion claiming to be 'restored Christianity'!

MormonISM is the very essence of slick anti-Christ inveigling, and the promoters of this anti-Christian religion will continue to be exposed and opposed so long as Christians are not squelched by the political correctness approach inherent in the lie that exposing mormonISM is hate or hatred of the people trapped in this demonic cult.

And just so there is no ambiguity, as a Christian in the immediate NOW I find there is now therefore no condemnation for I am in Christ Jesus, under His Blood, not struggling along waiting for some pie in the sky future weighing in, in order to be found worthy of His Blood.

ONLY the sinner calling out to Jesus is worthy. That worthiness is not based upon human effort, it is based upon the Promise of God to the sinner in fact who believes The Gospel.

Salvation is immediate because you only get the washing of regeneration ONCE. And no matter how good you behave without that washing, you still need to respond to the Gospel and be instantly, right then Saved, as we witness in the House of Cornelius when Peter brought the Gospel we now share with you and every other Mormon reading this angry post.

Yes, I'm angry, angry that a sneaky demonic lie will succeed in causing some to not trust in The Blood of Jesus The Christ and be immediately alive in Christ forever more. If you were a Christian in an active relationship with The Savior, you'd be angry about that lie from LDS Apostle Lyman too, FRiend.

And one final note to you my FRiend, Jeff:

Salvation cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. I cannot say when each will hear that 'hearing' happening, but you may be assured that it is happening whenever you read someone sharing The Gospel of The Blood of Christ cleanseth us from ALL unrighteousness.

Once one hears that Gospel and receives His Salvation, His Holy Spirit earnest of our inheritance, the rest of a life lived is a process of regeneration in the here and now. As a Christian struggling with the Adamic Nature I still have, I can testify that only His Grace is sufficient for living The Christian life.

I cannot earn His Grace [see Mormon doctrine of salvation after all that we can do], I can only ask His forgiveness and cleansing on a daily basis, secure in the understanding that I am asking of my Adopting Father, not some future judge. I am now in The Family of Jesus because His Holy Spirit has made my dead human spirit alive. 'There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

Apostle Lyman is a servant of the father of lies when he denies The Blood of Christ. I offer that not out of anger at you, but as fair warning to you that Mormonism is not Christianity restored, and the proof is such blasphemy coming from one titled an apostle in your religion of MormonISM.

Still spinning, eh Jeff?

Your comment, A small number of very vocal people who are against the LDS church succeeded in removing a post that called out an individual who compared the LDS Church to our nation’s enemies...the Islamics who want a world wide-calliphate and whose basic doctrine denies Jesus Christ as God’s Son and Savior, who want everyone to convert to Islam or die, or be ensllaved by them....certainly skips the fact that YOU inferred in YOUR post that the person who made that post had the same mindset as the perpetrators of the Jewish Holocaust in Germany, including your using the term "gas chamber".

As to me forever being disgraced and losing all credabbility at FR, given the emails and fremails I have received regarding this

Accusing another FReeper of that is, as I rightly called it HATE SPEECH and your continued dissembling about your indulging in it does nothing to burnish your credibility at FR . Your own words were disgraceful and you were called out on them.

See my tagline, BTW.

As to LDS Church to our nation’s enemies...the Islamics who want a world wide-calliphate and whose basic doctrine denies Jesus Christ as God’s Son and Savior, who want everyone to convert to Islam or die, or be ensllaved by them.

Your knowledge of the ties between your church and the islamic nations is lacking.

This comes straight from BYU: "Long before the events of September 11, 2001, BYU Studies began working on this special issue focusing on Islam. The authors and editors who worked on this issue have tried to capture the spirit of a religion that provides guidance to the lives of millions of people worldwide. The ever expanding influence of Islam extends to the prominent and often controversial role that Islam plays in contemporary politics. In addition, Muslim theology, scripture, art, science, and communal values have made significant contributions to world civilization. in quiet yet significant ways, dialogue and contact between Latter-day Saints and Muslims have increased. Consequently, the editors of BYU Studies believe an issue devoted to Islam will increase understanding and allow for continued dialogue and friendship between members of the two faiths. But for such a journey to be successful, one must first understand the basic features of Islam.

Whoa. I wasn't part of the whole 'thread removal' brouhaha, But I read your post the first time and you'll notice I didn't comment on it publicly. I didn't comment on it privately. Are you suggesting that you want to re-post the sentence that got your post removed by the moderators? If so, I support your decision to do so. Please repost it. I think all those who sent you emails and freemails want you to repost it instead of seeing you muzzled by a small percentage. Please, repost.

"Again, beyond that, God bless you for your own belief in and faith in Jesus Christ. I share that faith and belief, irrespective of your saying and believeing that I do not. "

Actually Jeff, I do not believe that as a committed mormon, you "share that faith and belief" with a Christian.

To share implies it is a faith in common.
To have a faith in common, we would have to believe in the same Jesus Christ, the same God, the same Gospel of Grace - and foundationally, that there is ONE GOD, as the Bible teaches.
In each of these foundational areas, mormonism, sadly, perverts the truth - sharing nothing with Christianity - and teaching something anti-Christian.

Jesus Christ:

... Christians believe Jesus Christ is God, has always been God, and will forever be God.
... The Jesus of mormonism started his life as a created spirit and later became a god.

These two different Christs cannot possibly be the same person.

This is no surprise. Jesus Christ warned us about this very thing when He said,

"Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive many. At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'Look, there he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect--if that were possible. So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time."

God the Father:

Christians believe God the Father has always been God.
Mormonism teaches that "Heavenly Father" started life as a created spirit being and later became a god.

These two different Gods cannot possibly be the same person.

The Gospel of Grace:

Christianity teaches that the Gospel of Grace is based on the sinless sacrifice of Jesus Christ and paid the debt for our sins that we could never pay because we are sinful.
Mormonism teaches that we must be individually "worthy" to qualify for salvation.

These two different Gospels cannot possibly be the same one. Both cannot be true. ONE GOD:

The Bible teaches that there is ONE GOD. Mormonism teaches there are 4 Earth Gods and millions, billions or trillions of possible other gods - in fact a "council of gods".

In a land, surrounded by pagan teachings of multiple gods, God Himself spoke to Israel saying:

שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְהוָה אֶחָד - Shema Yisra'el YHWH Eloheinu YHWH Eḥad
Shema Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Eḥad - Hear, O Israel: the Lord is our God, the Lord is One

The literal word meanings are roughly as follows:

Shemalisten, or hear & do (according to the Targum, accept)
Yisrael — Israel, in the sense of the people or congregation of Israel
Adonai — often translated as "LORD", it is read in place of YHWH; Samaritans say Shema, which is Aramaic for "the [Divine] Name" and is the exact equivalent of the Hebrew "ha-Shem", which Rabbinic Jews substitute for "Adonai" in a non-liturgical context such as everyday speech.[citation needed]
Eloheinu — the plural 1st person possessive of אֱלֹהִים Elohim, meaning “our God”.
Eḥad — the cardinal number one

(Hebrew characters and translation lifted from Wiki, so I didn't have to do the html...)

It is IMPOSSIBLE for mormonism to be the "restoration of the Church" since it denies the God of the Church.

Mormonism may rightly claim kinship with the pagan religions of ancient Israel, but not with Judaism and not with Christianity. They do not share a common faith with mormonism.

This isn't a matter of "interpretation" or reading the text differently. God Himself leaves no room to mistake that He stands alone as God. There aren't three or four earth gods or more, as mormonism teaches. There is ONE GOD. There is no "council of Gods" as mormonism teaches. There is ONE GOD.

What I find interesting is that I could dig through past history of any and all Christian denominations, and if I had an agenda of tearing down any one of those religions, I’m sure I could find plenty of ammunition - taking things out of context, twisting, spinning, playing fast and loose with information. But why on earth would I want to do such a silly unconstructive thing? It would take a lot of time and effort. I would have to be obsessed with negative thinking and vengeance. I have better things to do with my life.

It’s nice being back on the mormon persecution and victimhood side again isn’t it?

It’s easy now that your original comments are gone.

Got all the support and protection you need now.

God's judgement and even our own consciences reveal everything we want covered up.

Pretended righteousness when one is face-to-face with Jesus Christ will not get anyone past the last judgement.

We receive Him as He truly is or He will say, "I never met you."

"From the very small percentage of Freepers who have seen it ..." Such deceits and squirming omissions can and do fool many, but they have a very different outcome in the unseen realm.

What will happen to those who are mind-numbed and spiritually-crippled by Mormon fantasies about heaven and salvation?

There is no detour from hell into a telestial realm.

There is no second chance after death.
