No problem, NoGrayZone. Donating organs is a personal and private matter. There is no need to call someone selfish if they don’t choose to do it. Personally, I would like to be buried and the Mass only be attended by my immediate family. Then, I would love for a huge/fun filled “memorial” service for other family and friends. No tears... just stories, good food, some drinks available of every kind... and in honor of my life... tons of cheesecake. I figure that I will be partying in heaven with all my friends and relatives who left before me. The folks I leave should do the same on earth.

I told my sister, at my funeral, she better throw herself upon my coffin and cry and scream “how will I live without her”.

We have a sick sense of humor, lol.

After so many family/friends burials, we were all sad and crying at first. Then, once we all got together and started “reliving” memories of that family member (just as we do at the holidays), we start to laugh. Bringing up old times and stupid things they did, we did, and all did together.

At my Aunts funeral (she was my fathers sister, who raised myself, brother and sister after his death), we and all our cousins were downstairs reminiscing and laughing our butts off.

My Uncle John (who recently passed on) came down and reprimanded us, lol.
