Have you read Immaculee’s book “Our Lady of Kibeho?” Fascinating book.

Not that “Left to Tell” isn’t fascinating also.

I will be reading her third book soon.

Ok boys and girls, the neverending thread is fun, the debate between this splinter and that beam can be cool, but THIS is the Big One, the Real Fight. We ALL need to line up together. The division between sheeps and goats is here. We need to kick the secular humanist athesitic scum OUT of office, every one. Never again another Barney Frank, NEVER. Never again another Barrack Hussein Obama, NEVER!

Yes, I read Immaculee’s book “Our Lady of Kibeho” in October. Incredible story. I was visiting a friend this past weekend in New York. Their daughter had been working with Immaculee on the manuscript for a movie on these issues. I think we all need to take the message of “Our Lady of Kibeho” very seriously. Just as Our Lady of Fatima (correctly) predicted WWII and Russia spreading her errors, as well as future chastisements, Our Lady of Kibeho (correctly) predicted the genocide in Rwanda, as well as future chastisements.

When God sends the Mother of Jesus to warn us of the consequences of our sinful age, folks of all faiths should take notice and amend/reform their lives.

I have to completely agree. I’m more concerned about this than I am about arguing. You may or may not care for me, but if you are Christian, I am at your side in this.

Agreed. So now what?

We have been nice. We need to be good. Our ancestors of the Faith were NOT NICE!!

Jesus was not nice. Nice guys don’t go around insulting the religious leaders of the day and tearing up the Temple market. He was Good.

Don’t play nice anymore. It is better to be fed to the lions while proclaiming Christ than go into the outer darkness of Hell afraid of offending someone.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

How about closing down, razing, digging up the foundations, and salting the earth of every one of our nation's godless and socialist K-12 schools?

How did Barney Frank, Ted Kennedy, and Barack Obama get voted in? Stupid people who had been taught to think godlessly and socialistically in their godless and socialist government owned and run schools voted these reprobates into office.

‘Passing the trash’

Too often, problem teachers are allowed to leave quietly. That can mean future abuse for another student and another school district.

“They might deal with it internally, suspending the person or having the person move on. So their license is never investigated,” says Charol Shakeshaft, a leading expert in teacher sex abuse who heads the educational leadership department at Virginia Commonwealth University.

It’s a dynamic so common it has its own nicknames—“passing the trash” or the “mobile molester.”

Laws in several states require that even an allegation of sexual misconduct be reported to the state departments that oversee teacher licenses. But there’s no consistent enforcement, so such laws are easy to ignore.

School officials fear public embarrassment as much as the perpetrators do, Shakeshaft says. They want to avoid the fallout from going up against a popular teacher. They also don’t want to get sued by teachers or victims, and they don’t want to face a challenge from a strong union.

The State should not license marriage at all.

An independent and traditionally Catholic school organized by the parents is a good description of the school where my wife teaches. It is a very good idea to organize such schools. Hers bought a dead public school in which to operate. Quality education, quality Catholicism (the school is loosely connected to an oratory (looks like a parish but more permanent) of the Institute of Christ the King (Tridentine only). This and NOT the dishonest SSPX schism is actual traditional Catholicism.

In which diocese had your daughter been teaching? Who is the bishop?

A very bad trend in even such orthodox dioceses as the one where we live, have caved in to the silly notion that degrees in "education" (read secular indoctrination) are somehow credentials to teach. At the grammar school I attended more than fifty years ago (in an affluent parish) the nuns, with one exception had no more than a high school education. There was only one with a college education and she was predictably liberal and transferred in short order. The other nuns, although often Democrats were joyously convinced that Joe McCarthy would be the first Catholic POTUS and sent us home to spread the word to our parents to support him.

Parochial schools committed to an ongoing lifestyle of self-deception and Kumbaya in place of the Faith are not much better than gummint skewels (PS 666).

God bless you and yours.

Homeschoolers have taught us something that our ancestors knew well. It is completely possible to educate children in the parent's home or home of a trust relative or friend. Earlier Americans called them “dame schools”.

Here's an idea:

Believing families hire a teacher and the children go to home of the teacher for their education. Honestly, why should zoning or health regulations be any more stringent than home-based day care? Think of the savings not to have to buy and maintain large brick and mortar buildings.

May God bless you in you and your wife's efforts. Saving the souls of children is the most important missionary work of all.

A Christian's most important mission field is his children.

A Christian's second most important mission is the children of his congregation.

Too many Christians have forgotten this.

Many folks have been conditioned to think that a piece of paper from the state determines if one is married or not. A recent poll showed 40% of people think that marriage comes from man, and thus the state.

Apart from that, the state has the the power to punish if one rejects their ever devolving take on marriage. And the state is never going to give up its involvement with marriage, it provides the statists and homosexualists too much control in the culture.
