I can’t find it now, but there are credible reports that JPII read “the Third Secret of Fatima” prior to his Fulda Germany comments. The fact he subsequently requested to read the Fatima letter after the assassination attempt is one of the “facts” used by those who claim there are two Third Secret letters, to prove that in addition to the one published by the Vatican in 2000 describing the vision, there is another, still not released, containing the type of message JPII referred to at Fulda, and Cardinal Ratzinger referred to when he stated the message of Akita and Fatima are essentially the same.

The Fatima prophesies predicted the communist conquest of Russia, WWII, and the current widespread, anti-Christ apostasy. It is neither idolatrous nor irrational to expect that the rest of the prophesies will be fulfilled.

Maybe not. I think that most Irish-Americans at that time had totally bought into American democracy. On the other hand, Nineteenth Century popes referred to democracy as a "farce" since they thought elected politicians were easily bought off by anti-Christian money power. Don't you think that events have proven these popes correct?

The Church has always held the vast majority or Marian apparitions to be either fake or daemonic. That is why the Church always conducts a very thorough examination before declaring an apparition to be "worthy of belief" (post-Apostolic revelations are never a requirement of belief).
What evidence do you have to prove the Fatima apparitions daemonic?

There is solid evidence for miracles at Fatima, so apparition could not have been fake. One would have to show some heresy or falsehood being put forth by the apparition in order to prove it daemonic.

Now, were it not for your wretchedly false Amillennialist eschatology, you would run from any identification with the aforementioned. But your eschatology and your “prophets” (false) deceive you. They see dominion over the world in a Papal Amillennial kingdom in Rev. 20, and before the second coming, the fulfillment of prophecy and a good thing.
Daniel’s Roman fourth beast or not, entirely antagonistic to God’s true kingdom, the Papist “prophets” could care less. They could care about Daniel’s prophecies, it is their Amillennialst hermeneutic and its prophets they look to.
God’s people distance themselves from such a totalitarian beast system, they obey Rev. 18:4 and come out of her.
What you, Koop, and others are hoping for following your “prophets,” is entirely in opposition to the prophecies of Daniel, and what this country and FR is all about. The Pilgrims came to this land trying to get away from the European totalitarianism that you are pushing on this thread.
The cults succeed quite well in turning folks away from Christ by seductively dismissing, minimizing, directing away from or trashing HIS DEITY.
They can quite skillfully use truth, half-truths and bits of truth to accomplish that.
Fatima succeeded in the priority goal of the enemy on such scores by glorifying the Ashteroth-Mary-Goddess caricature INSTEAD OF JESUS THE CHRIST.
As Scripture makes very clear, HOLY SPIRIT AND WHATEVER HOLY SPIRIT DOES GLORIFIES CHRIST.
