Like you, I used to be an apologetics, message board warrior. For 15 years, I literally posted thousands of times on CARM, SPERO etc. I would bet the mortgage I never changed anyone’s mind.
Ultimately, it was the insightful wisdom of an adversary (Baptist Minister) who had an impact on me. When I asked him why he stopped posting, he responded that “it was easier for him to fight for his faith than to live by his faith.” He elected to turn his attention to the latter. I agreed to follow him.

Thankfully, I’ve been concentrating a lot on living my faith in every venue and aspect, that, by God’s Grace, I can.
