I just wondered if you put him in the, “not impressed with”, category. I've known him since we were in High School together and am impressed with him in a number of ways. So, I wondered if you felt he was in the same lump as the others or a bit different.

i post 1 or 2 comments on here, and I get buried in rapture art. Don't think there is a way to block it or get it off my "Ping" (or "My Comments") page. it's there permanently now. Worse than getting a Bender cheerleader ping.

Wow, you don't like the transporter crew? I thought everyone liked the guys that beam people up and down and all around. Just goes to show you, it's not only Ensign Ricky that people tend to ignore in the Star Trek series., the transporter specialists don't get any respect either. You can see why, though, if you think about it.

Unlike the Ensign Ricky who is drained of his life force by shape shifting goats on Squagdoodle 12, or suffocated by an ambulatory tomato at Ag Station Localfoo, they're just not a real part of the story and mission. They're pretty much props hanging around showing off their technical skills as a way to further the fiction the authors hope to draw you into. Yeah, Rodney Dangerfield must be the Patron Saint of transporter specialists.

Regards

Nero wasn’t the worst of it. But then you have holy and righteous monarchs like St. Louis IX in the West and St. Vladimir in the East.

Well, the thread has gotten quite lengthy it appears, think I’ll throw in some parting remarks and take my leave.

One would think the herd of Roman Catholics on this thread, gleefully anticipating the fall of Western Democratic governments, including the American Republic, in order for them to have a return to their former glory, the Papist-Monarchy system, would realize they are not the only game in town.

There is a long list lusting for the same thing. UN one worlders, for instance. And one world Socialist-Communists. New Agers. Judaism, which believes they are predestined to rule the world, all that’s lacking is the appearance of their Messiah. Islam, of course.

And Masonic-Illuminati types - who were behind the French Revolution. Well documented in the works of Nesta Webster, Professor Robison, Abbe Barruel, and Clarence Kelley (Conspiracy against God and Man). The latter a Catholic priest.

The same French Revolution which made Catholics their chief targets, murdering every priest and nun, every devout Catholic they could get their hands on. France being a Catholic country, it was a target rich environment. And we know what they did to the Royalists. And we know what kind of communist type system they spawned in the world.

Yet we have this herd of naïve Catholics on this thread, thinking the French Revolution types, the Socialists and Communists, the OWS types, are going to allow a return to the old Papist Monarchial system? I rather think not.

The atrocities that took place in the French Revolution, in a thoroughly Catholic country no less, will look like child’s play compared to what they are going to do to these naïve Catholics on this thread.

Go ahead, join in with the lawless types clamoring for the fall of America and the West, the rest of us who truly love this country are going to watch with interest how your little endeavor is going to come out.

It’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top between you and the rest of the aforementioned totalitarian types. I’m sure you think you will, methinks there is a guillotine in your future.

“A knight shall come from the west. He shall capture Milan, Lombardy, and the three crowns”; this has something to do with the House of Savoy.

+1.

They are State-ists. No different where the rubber meets the road than Communists, Fascists, and Nazis.

They all seek to increase the power of the State at the expense of individual liberty.

When and if the Western Republics fail - it will not be the prelude to Catholic Monarchy - and it is absolute delusion to think otherwise. Delusion that will end at the guillotine.

is the plan that they will take France, then next is Quebec and they will do border raids across the U.S. border? Is that the vision you have?

Do a remake of Red Dawn in the Adirondacks. Lake Placid, maybe?

Go ahead, join in with the lawless types clamoring for the fall of America and the West, the rest of us who truly love this country

You have it wrong,we don't want to see the fall of America. We want a moral America just like you do. We want an America with Christian Dogma sewn into a constitution that would outlaw things like pornography, homosexuality ,abortion etc...

Legal Abortion, porn, gay agenda etc...are actually against true freedom.

True freedom is freedom of TRUTH that sets a person free from error

Blessed Bishop Fulton Sheen said it perfectly

"There are only three things we can do with our freedom. We can direct it selfishly towards ourselves, we can scatter it among a thousand trivial things, and we can surrender it to God. The first option is by far the most damaging because when we believe we are free to act as badly as we choose, we become slaves to our addictions. Boundless liberty leads to boundless tyranny."

methinks there is a guillotine in your future.

... and by our relentless love of good we may die like the early Christians, but love ALWAYS conquers evil in the end!

I was referring to Europe mostly, the old home place of Popes and Emperors. We have no such tradition here in the states. The very antithesis of it, as a matter of fact.

The “herd of Roman Catholics” I mentioned may yearn for a Monarchy here, but they can just pine away. It ain’t gonna happen. At least the way I see it.

They may seem like a “herd” here on this thread tucked away in the backwater religious section of FR, but in the real world of America, they are by no means the controlling majority. There is herd of us non-Catholic Biblicists who assuredly do not see things the way they do.

Now, Europe? different story. Their prophets have indicated France is the optimum place. However, for the reasons cited in my last post, I don’t think an effort to bring back a Papal Monarchy system will end well.

Since the FR Catholic “herd” appear to be Americans, I think the best place for them to put their hope, and political efforts, is right here. Why not be a Sen. McCarthy type? an outstanding Catholic patriot. And help us fight these Socialist-Commies here. Instead of all this clamoring for a European style Monarchy.

This is America, the home of free, a Free Republic, not France.

i don’t know any herd of RC’s who yearn for monarchy. They yearn for a return to the rule of law and a true Constitutional Republic and a lessening of the cultural decadence and harshness.

After Islam conquers Europe, there will be no more Republics in Europe. The he-goat is the european monarch.

“As I was reflecting, a he-goat with a prominent horn on its forehead suddenly came from the west across the whole earth without touching the ground. 6 It approached the two-horned ram I had seen standing by the river, and rushed toward it with savage force. 7 I saw it attack the ram with furious blows when they met, and break both its horns. It threw the ram, which had not the force to withstand it, to the ground, and trampled upon it; and no one could rescue it from its power.” Daniel ch 8

of course the article never relates this prophecy to Daniel. And doc ain’t paying attention now. And the monarchists are gone for the day, moved onto a new thread.

The rebuttals would be:
1. already happened. Alexander the Great
2. the two horns on the ram conquering Europe would be Iran and Iraq or the Shiites and the Sunni. Some argue the 2 groups would not be able to join an alliance for an aggressive caliphate. Didn’t seem to stop ‘em during Arab Spring.

Dr. Kopp - The problem I have with the Catholic Monarch is that the ones we get are *Bourbons*.
