A number of folks share your perspective quite sincerely.
I don’t find that perspective
remotely evident, logical or Biblical.

I’m referring to the so-called “Spirit of Vatican II” when I discuss the neo-Protestant Catholic bishops, clergy, and laity.
Most of whom have never been catechized, so they have gravitated toward Protestant ideas because of the dominant Protestant, now secular culture.
Many Catholics in America have long had an inferiority complex vis-a-vis Protestants due to the decades of discrimination they faced.
Pope Leo XIII noted this as far back as the 19th century when he warned of the phantom heresy of Americanism.

Not emotion ahead of faith, but faith and doctrine prior to experience and still God the Holy Spirit has the power to provide some powerful testimony, which we both agree. You make many worthy points quite routinely--THANKFULLY.
However, I believe the "prior to experience" to be a straw dog and a rather illogical one, at that.
There can be
NO APPREHENSION, PERCEPTION, AWARENESS, UNDERSTANDING . . .
OF FAITH, DOCTRINE, SCRIPTURE OR ANYTHING ELSE
APART FROM
EXPERIENCE.
If whatever we are thinking of, dealing with, postulating about, pontificating on, praying about, attempting to understand, walk-out, live-out, . . .
has absolutely NO registry on our PERCEPTUAL EXPERIENCE
THEN
we have NO AWARENESS OF ITS EXISTENCE AT ALL!
And, yes, one person's EXPERIENCE is different from another's . . . EVEN OF ETERNAL SCRIPTURE . . . as we routinely observe on FR.

“”Pope Leo XIII noted this as far back as the 19th century when he warned of the phantom heresy of Americanism””
Good. Thanks for the clarification! As ardent reader of Pope Leo XIII’s various letters and encyclicals we both know he saw the future of Americanism

I’ve usually found it growthful and edifying to earnestly endeavor to AVOID taking myself or chips on shoulders too seriously.
However, thanks for the repeated insults about my sanity etc.

A Christian monarch is expected to defend the rights and freedoms of his people. Hes a servant. Important point.

No American worthy of the name would ever bend the knee to serve a King a word that should be hateful in the ear of any free man when applied to any but the King of Kings. No King but Jesus was a foundational slogan or resistance to the tyranny of Monarchy.
Let the thrones of nepotic inbred dynasties tremble at the words in our Declaration of Independence!
What a sad sick delusional lot that would prefer the safety of chains to the hazards of freedom, may they go from us, we seek neither their arms nor their counsel - and may posterity forget that they ever were our countrymen.
ABSOLUTELY INDEED!

Russia will be converted back to Christianity en mass, and the Orthodox churches will be reunited with the Roman Catholic Church, and all non-Catholic (protestant, reformed, evangelical and fundamentalist) churches will cease to exist In a generation or two the Christians that remain will be all Catholic. The so-called reformers will cease to exist simply because they will succeed in bringing to apostasy everyone of weak faith.

The Protestant definition of faith is emotionalism The extreme, overweening, gargantuan, Olympic gold medal class !ARROGANCE!
of the
Vatican Ashteroth-Mary-Goddess cult parades again!
Last I checked, it was
NOT
PRODDYS
who crawled on broken glass to tearfully kiss and wear a bit more off the marble toes of their idols to their Ashteroth-Mary-Goddess caricature. Talk about emotionalism! Sheesh!

someone has been extremely poorly taught.

My issue is that in Dupont’s book, he quotes many prophecies that are not found anywhere else, and puts others in odd places.
For instance the quote that Birch and Dupont attributed to Augustine about a new “French” emperor is very odd. The idea of the Franks was not in Augustine's time, and I can't find anything he said about an emperor from Gaul. Not saying that Augustine didn't say that, but if this is a well known prophecy, from a many who was famous for NOT having prophecy, then it would stand out. Unless it is another St. Augustine that is not as familiar.
The idea of a Greater France Emperor is hard to find in many older sources. Some make mention of a great King, but there are some who place him in what is now Germany, Britain, and a host of other places. In short, I would be very cautious unless you have a decent list of sources.

Thank you, Quix! Projectionism is a bad habit of the RCs. They simply do not see themselves in the accusations they launch. Sometimes it's just so ironic that I must read them a few times to wrap my mind around the lunacy...
BTW: GREAT TO SEE YOU POSTING AGAIN! I've missed your words of wisdom, friend! Regards, smvoice

Thanks for your kind words.
I’d much prefer to crawl back in my cave.
It’s just that the outrageous stuff in this thread’ OP was toooo intolerable to ignore.
You are a treasure, to me, too.
Praise God for all you do for His Kingdom.
