So it seems.
Actually, I think they believe ONLY what they see fluttering ‘down’ from their
Ashteroth-Mary-Goddess caricature embroidered on white hankys.
They encourage and look forward to it...
We, with the teaching of God, preach and warn against it...
Without a doubt, the Spirit of AntiChrist is loose in the World...
From your post #1:
“Some non-Catholic FReepers have wondered at the attachment of a certain segment of traditionalist Catholics to the idea of a return of Monarchy. I do not subscribe to that school of thought, but there is a robust body of Catholic prophecy from which these “Catholic Monarchists” draw inspiration and hope for the future. “
Then this post:
“Dont worry, this rapture nonsense will also be a long and gladly forgotten bad memory.”
So, you do not subscribe to the Monarchy OR to the Rapture.
You are not consistent. I guess you believe in whatever you want to believe in, regardless of Gods word.
Mary the Ark As Revealed in Mary’s Visit to Elizabeth
Golden Box: Ark of the Old Covenant Mary: Ark of the New Covenant
The ark traveled to the house of Obed-edom in the hill country of Judea (2 Sam. 6:1-11). Mary traveled to the house of Elizabeth and Zechariah in the hill country of Judea (Luke 1:39).
Dressed as a priest, David danced and leapt in front of the ark (2 Sam. 6:14). John the Baptist of priestly lineage leapt in his mother’s womb at the approach of Mary (Luke 1:41).
David asks, “How can the ark of the Lord come to me?” (2 Sam. 6:9). Elizabeth asks, “Why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” (Luke 1:43).
David shouts in the presence of the ark (2 Sam. 6:15). Elizabeth “exclaimed with a loud cry” in the presence of the Mary (Luke 1:42).
The ark remained in the house of Obed-edom for three months (2 Sam. 6:11). Mary remained in the house of Elizabeth for three months (Luke 1:56).
The house of Obed-edom was blessed by the presence of the ark (2 Sam. 6:11). The word blessed is used three times; surely the house was blessed by God (Luke 1:39-45).
The ark returns to its home and ends up in Jerusalem, where God’s presence and glory is revealed in the temple (2 Sam. 6:12; 1 Kgs. 8:9-11). Mary returns home and eventually ends up in Jerusalem, where she presents God incarnate in the temple (Luke 1:56; 2:21-22).
Inside the Ark
Inside the Ark of the Old Covenant Inside Mary, Ark of the New Covenant
The stone tablets of the law the word of God inscribed on stone The body of Jesus Christ the word of God in the flesh
The urn filled with manna from the wilderness the miraculous bread come down from heaven The womb containing Jesus, the bread of life come down from heaven (John 6:41)
The rod of Aaron that budded to prove and defend the true high priest The actual and eternal High Priest
Of course this implies the Holy Spirit is removed from the indwelling of man and the the Church Age ceases, identifiable with the Rapture, also associated with the Great Apostasy immediately before the Great Tribulation and later the Abomination which causes Desolation.
Somebody needs to be promoting and others need to accept it for there to be a one world religion.
At this critical juncture in history, Christians should NOT spend time fighting one another. This is EXACTLY what the Enemy wants. Instead, we should all be asking the Triune God to strengthen our FAITH and our commitment to keep our focus on HIM and what He wants us to do.
Perhaps we could begin by praying for our UNITY, for our increasing trust and reliance on Him, for more laborers for the harvest, for the salvation of souls, etc....because our battle is not against one another. It is against the very principalities of evil.
UNMITIGATED ARROGANCE
of the Ashteroth-Mary-Goddess cult
is persistently shocking to me.
To think that they can post such an outrageous set of super arrogant UNBiblical assertions and get off Scott-free vis a vis Proddy responses????
What cluelessness!
Ya know, my FRiend, you’re moving into the realm of sick irrational reactions. If you don’t agree with Mary being the Ark into which God placed the article for our convenant Christian relationship with His Grace in Christ Jesus, then just say so and move on. Ridiculing this belief in other CHRISTIANS says more about your mental stability than it does about the issue. I’m not a Catholic yet I happen to believe this notion. So you’re ridiculing me, a nonCatholic who has been your friend at FR. Is that rational, Quix?
If you were to search the visit to Elizabeth And He was born on the YHvH Eight days later He was circumcised on Seek YHvH in His WORD. Such claptrap.
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
you would come to know that Yah'shua
was conceived on Chanukah.
The light entering the world.
commanded Feast of Tabernacles.
See John 1:14 the WORD became flesh,
and tabernacled among us,
the Feast of the "Joy of The WORD"
You may have something—we are an aristocracy of the rich—But at least a poor slob can—with luck and pluck rise into the ranks of the rich and powerful. Mankind got along for centuries with kings and queens and emperors. Thes 3rd world states have so-called Presidents for life—Kings in all but name only. I am glad we are not a Monarchy or we would be stuck with Obama for the rest of his life.
You are not consistent.
You're right. The Church does not either approve nor condemn this body of prophecy, so neither do I. I personally believe we'll see it fulfilled in our lifetime, even though as an American I am apprehensive about any return of Monarchy.
I am also morally certain there will be no pre-trib rapture.
If it was going to happen, it would have happened already, before communist/atheist governments killed a couple hundred million believers over the past century.
Doctor, PLEASE ingore the protestant arrows and get this thing back on track. Just ignore them in the same way fighter bombers have to fly through flak. Just get to the target. I don’t care what they say.
I am an avid reader of Church mystics and find the Monarch difficult to envision. If this did occur, wouldn’t it be more likely a secular leader and not a bloodline monarch?
Even more important to me, the totality of Church mystics seem to be pointing to a natural disaster preceeding the political oppression. I am thinking about the following
St. Patrick;
“The ocean shall inundate Ireland seven years before the End so that the devil may not rule over that people
.
St. Nennus;
“The sea will come over Ireland seven years before the day of judgment”
St.Hildegard;
“The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent by an earthquake, storm and tidal waves will be devastated. It will be divided, and in great part submerged. That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea, and lose its colonies in the east through a Tiger and a Lion. The Comet by its tremendous pressure, will force much out of the ocean and flood many countries, causing much want and many plagues. [After the] great Comet, the great nation will be devastated by earthquakes, storms, and great waves of water, causing much want and plagues. The ocean will also flood many other countries, so that all coastal cities will live in fear, with many destroyed. All sea coast cities will be fearful and many of them will be destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will be killed and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease.”

Juxtapose the mystics stated supra, with the link below and I’m going in this direction.

It is not about you, It could not have happened before 1948 or 1967,
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
because of Scripture i.e. Prophesy.
it is about the Glory of the NAME of YHvH
The book my mother in law had which talks of a monarch was a slim book published in the the late 60’s with a comet on the front. There were a few quotes that i spent a lot of time trying to track down, and the only places were in that book (can't remember its name now).
I will see if I can find a copy of the book you linked to.
I think we use the word ‘anti’ too loosely around here. In my view, most if not all posters here are against certain beliefs but are not against the persons who hold those beliefs.
Unfortunately, I do not know how to find the prophecies in their original form. Desmond Birch spent years researching collecting them, including time in the Vatican library and archives.
Thank you for that link, it is very helpful.
Have you read the book I linked in post # 190, “Trial, Tribulation, and Triumph”?
It does a fantastic job of pulling all these various saints and apparitions into one cohesive timeline.
