I was looking for something that contained the prophecies in their more original form. For instance, he quoted Augustine. I can go find where Augustine said that, and in what context (haven't done that, my library isn't at work!).

The book my mother in law had which talks of a monarch was a slim book published in the the late 60’s with a comet on the front. There were a few quotes that i spent a lot of time trying to track down, and the only places were in that book (can't remember its name now).

I will see if I can find a copy of the book you linked to.

The book you are referring to is "Catholic Prophecy" by Yves DuPont. I think DuPont's book precipitated the research by Birch and lead to the more thoroughly researched and documented "Trial, Tribulation, and Triumph."

Unfortunately, I do not know how to find the prophecies in their original form. Desmond Birch spent years researching collecting them, including time in the Vatican library and archives.
