Seems like the hosts were rather tolerant enough to allow you to post all your pro-Romney sympathizer posts from the previous election.
(I'm including the RM on this post, Resty, only because your comments were directed to post #50, which was written by the RM)
Those who are of the Lord no manner their doctrine are commanded by the Lord to Love One Another.
Resty, allow me to ask you a series of serious Bible-based Q:
* Did the following apostles and leaders of Christ's church practice loving one another?
* And did they still practice loving one another when they wrote the following?
9 He [an elder] must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. (Titus 1:9)
(Resty, is refuting in and of itself unloving? Was the apostle Paul "unloving" here?)
...I felt compelled to write and urge you to CONTEND for the faith that was ONCE AND FOR ALL entrusted to Gods holy people. (Jude 3)
(Resty, is contending in and of itself unloving? Was the half-brother of Jesus, an early church leader, Jude, "unloving" here?)
7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work. (2 John 7-11)
(Tell us, Resty, although the context here is "houses" -- where the early church worshiped -- is the apostle John "unloving" here by saying not to welcome people into your place of worship who have taught deceptively egregious teachings? And isn't your phrase "no manner their doctrine" proved false by this passage if you define inhospitality as "unloving?")
Resty, this is JimRob's "house." He doesn't have to let EVERY doctrine under the sun be shouted from his house's rooftop. If he deems certain teachings to be especially deceptive -- especially those that masquerade as "Christianity" and attempts to counterfeit it -- 2 John 10-11 alone gives him a Scriptural foundation for not having open arms toward such teachings. Still, he has tended to provide oversight that focuses on moderating the process -- and not specific teachings.
Are you telling us, Resty, that you would let the Flying Inmans come into your house and teach whatever we want when we want? Actually, I'm amazed at what's allowed to be proclaimed on this Web site. But, hey, I realize that's also part of living in a Free Republic where an open exchange of ideas flows in the marketplaces and public forums of life. America is a sort of "Mars Hill."
Those who are of the Lord no manner their doctrine are commanded by the Lord to Love One Another. Not true; and ANYone who knows there BIBLE knows it!
Acts 17:18-19
18. A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to dispute with him. Some of them asked, "What is this babbler trying to say?" Others remarked, "He seems to be advocating foreign gods." They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.
19. Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him, "May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting?
