I don't recall any Mormons crashing airliners into skyscrapers to kill the apostates.
I don't recall any Mormons making snuff films where they cut off apostates' heads.
I don't recall any Mormons rioting over unflattering cartoon images of Joseph Smith or Brigham Young.
Get the picture?
Look: very few of us on FR (if any) support Mitt Romney for president, considering his track record of right-left-right flip-flopping and his support of socialized medicine. Most of us could care less about his Mormonism: IMHO, criticizing him about it is a distraction that he'll only use to his advantage by framing it as religious bigotry (kinda like Obama playing the race card).
Time to move on.

(Then bone up on history...the very first 9/11 terrorist attack in this country was on Sept. 11, 1857 when the Mormons massacred "gentile" wagon train people who weren't far from gettin' out of Utah...called the Mountain Meadows Massacre...120 children, moms & dads butchered -- most at point-blank range)

No, the Mormons in the Mountain Meadows Massacre took the opposite approach: cover-up. First many of the men dressed like Paiute Indians. And they blamed them. Then territorial governor Brigham Young covered up the slaughter for the rest of his life. His reward? (The Mormons named their most famous university after him)

No as far as I know thare are no films but the heads of “apostates” have been cut off...
BTW if the mormon missionaries brought a DVD of Mormon history to your door would you want to join ???
