Just because someone attends church on Sundays, and throws something in the offering plate, and teaches a Sunday school class, and golfs at the country club that the rest of the congregation golfs at, does not mean that they know Christ as Savior and are going to Heaven. The very idea that the Bible is the absolute inerrant, infallible word of God, and that not only have prophecies in that Bible been literally fulfilled in the past but the prophecies in that Bible which have not happened yet are in the process of happening, sends those who have allegorized the Bible into meaninglessness completely over the edge.
If the Bible is true, then they are finished. That is the source of the rage.
AMEN, Giovanna! AMEN. They are betting that it’s all allegory. And grouping together to find safety in their bet. Against God’s Word. The prophecies that have already come to pass have not been enough to convince them that God says what He means and means what He says. He will do as He has told us. He has them in derision. And He will laugh them to scorn. God is NOT mocked.
