You asked why were there attacks on mormonism...the reason is because Christians believe mormonism is a false religion. What you believe about religions in general is irrelevant. If you don’t want Christians to attack the teachings of mormonism, then too bad.
It is not an attack on Mormonism that I object to. It is an attack on a man that believes in Mormonism. Throw out the personal, and discuss doctrine in a “clean” manner. I will join in gladly.
