One is focused on a person, the other on the behavior, that is the key difference. One is judgment of a person, the other is judgment of a behavior.

The thieves in jail, for stealing other peoples stuff, will be SO glad to hear this!

They'll realize that their BEHAVIOR is in jail: not them, personally.

Those are society rules not religious ones, don’t confuse the two. These rules may be based in a religious tradition but it doesn’t have to follow all religious traditions.

All societies must have rules ... by your same logic, when the state legalizes marriage between gay people, that would change your faith

I don’t think anyone would agree to that.

I don’t think Marriage between the same sex should be allowed except for hermaphrodites that have a defined medical issue. In those cases, a hermaphrodite should be able to go to a judge and have his/her sex declared.
