I agree, from what I have read of Mormon teachings, they are full of holes, and even provable lies. An attack on Glenn Beck, Romney, or Mormonism in general, is an attack on the Right. It is fully funded by George Soros and the left wing attack machine. If they spent as much time perusing the doctrines of Islam, I can understand that. Attacking the Mormons is an attempt to destroy the coalition that is needed to take the Left down.

you’re too focused on politics. You need to understand that the state of one’s soul is far more important than the advancement of conversative principles.

Therefore, Christians will always heed the call to rebuke false teachings, such as mormonism. Christians could care less about attacking individual mormons. However, when spiritual lives are at stake, Christians will stand up against spiritual errors even if that means correcting fellow political conservatives.

Not precisely, unless you are going to accuse those here of being in the pay of Soros. What a person BELIEVES is the foundation of their world view. Beck expouses his world view - and he liberally infuses it with mormon view points and even doctrine (he believes jews migrated here to the americas for instance).

Secondly - the belief system of mormonisn is obscure to the uninitiated and sprinkled with enough "Christianese" to sound legitimately Christian. So what is the foundational and historical beliefs infused into mormonism that one needs to be aware of. Smith aspired to be the president/king of America near the end of his life. Young migrated to Utah and attempted to set up mormonism as a theocratic empire separate from the US in general. Temple mormons swore an oath of vengence against the gov't of the US (until about 1927 iirc). Beck and other mormons are feeling apocalyptic fervor at the possiblity of the "White Horse" prophecy being fulfilled - which would result in a mormon theocracy being established over America.

These are some of the teachings and doctrines that are infused into the fabric of the mormon world view which Beck adhears to - but I dare say conservatives in general reject.

An attack is to bring false information - what is presented about mormonism here is substantuated by their prophets, writings and doctrines. If they spent as much time perusing the doctrines of Islam, I can understand that.

Islam is not trying to pass itself off as Christianity in an effort to appear legitimate for starters. Secondly, I'm not thrilled with the concept of a mormon theocracy replacing our Gov't (as screwed up as it is). And there are plenty of people exposing the doctrines/teachings of Islam - its very open, not so with mormonism with its secret (sacred) ceremonies, PR controlled 'history' and sanitized image it presents. If you want to endorse beck in ignorance of the doctrinal framework mormonism brings to beck's world view - that is your choice. But I cannot subscribe to that 'view' because of what he brings to the table demanding equal ground - those same mormon views of gov't.

Then by all means we must save the Country; even if it means that some other folks will go to Hell.

Yeah; THAT's the ticket!

That is just ridiculous! Most Mormons didn’t even consider themselves Republican until the 1960’s and many still don’t (Faithful Mormons like Reid). We certainly don’t need them to win. That is just propaganda.

BTW, I don’t care what political views a Mormon has, I will still tell them the truth about their cult, to their face, openly. Souls are more important than politics and Mormons side in with Islam rather than Christians in a lot of things (like Haiti for one example). Mormonism and Islam are much closer than Mormonism and Christianity.
