really, Pharissees condemned to hell .... are you sure he wasnt talking about the behavior or did personally invoke them?
I would like to know in what Bible and Verse this is.
_______________________________________________
Why ???
You havent supplied any yourself that proves universal salvation...
“Everyone gets saved and nobody goes to Hell because god is too kind”
You’re really splitting hairs....Jesus directly condemned these Pharisees, meaning the ones He was talking to. These verses were used to show you that Jesus did condemn people to Hell on occasion. He wasn’t speaking in generalities about people who may participate in certain types of behavior. He emphatically stated, by His authority, that these pharisees were condemned to Hell.
What’s your point?
????
or I could talk to the wall.
When Paul called people out, there were riots. He preached to 1000s and they did not like it one bit - riots abound. Pretty sure that’s why he was beheaded. Hum? Seem to remember that the apostles were almost all killed in some fashion for calling out sinners.
Are we really so hard headed that we won’t even bother asking the guy a question before we condemn him from here to kingdom come?
You are just a terrible venom spitter
I will ask the question myself
Glen Beck, do you see yourself as a Prophet? Glen Beck, do you see yourself as a religious teacher/leader?
Glen Beck, are your events really non-denominational or do you have sinister hidden motives?
Is this going to satisfy you? or are you still going to be a hater regardless of the answer?
is Hell down below the crust in the hot core of earth???
is it a spiritual place full of booogermen...??
Don’t know, don’t care, I am not bound for hell but for Glory.
You really can't help it, can you?
Here you judge me with your accusation -- less than 17 minutes after eschewing what you labeled Turtlepower as doing: You are judging again, you can just ask him [Post #212]
You don't want anybody to pin you down; and accuse them of judging you. But you seem to then have some special judging license to go around and label others as "venom spitters" like the above or "evil" and devil-like like you also did of me in post #14.
Which is it?
Glenn Beck, do you see yourself as a "missionary tool" of the Mormon church?
(Well, Glenn, given your lack of public objection to Deseret describing your DVD as such, nor a public decline of taking a cut of that, the obvious answer is "yes.")
(You know, Dila, it's not like Glenn has any lacking of access to either a microphone or Web site should he want to distance himself from anything)
go ahead and ask Glenn whatever you want. Keep judging the rest of us for using biblical discernment while you tell us not to judge the teachings of Beck....seems pretty hypocritical of you.
If you discover that Beck’s testimony is damaging the cause of Christ by leading people to the false church of mormonism will you ever admit to being wrong?
I agree, from what I have read of Mormon teachings, they are full of holes, and even provable lies. An attack on Glenn Beck, Romney, or Mormonism in general, is an attack on the Right. It is fully funded by George Soros and the left wing attack machine. If they spent as much time perusing the doctrines of Islam, I can understand that. Attacking the Mormons is an attempt to destroy the coalition that is needed to take the Left down.
We will see if it is worthy of such consideration
Christianity, as an institution, and all relics/objects/books/traditions associated with it, have been heavily influenced by a world that does NOT accept its basic message, and turned into something like ancestor worship.
That is an interestingly perverse way of examining an "institution". I do not consider your premise accurate except for fringe applications - and even those more focused on western forms.
Having said that, I myself try to commune with Christ and God. I dont know how to measure success, but try to be faithful and optimistic about it.
Your second premise does not naturally follow the first. Additionally - 'communing' is a very vague term as well as your dual Christ AND God note. The Bible is far more explicit about it than the bland oatmeal this describes Tax. If that is all that "Christianity" means to you, then you really haven't studied the New Testiment.
And if a person were really hurting, with serious life problems, then I can think of nothing better than to ask God and/or Christ to intervene, and to express faith and hope to him/them personally. Thats what any Christian of any stripe would do, I think.
Tax, it is clear now that you are representing something OTHER than Christianity with the phrase him/them indicating that the two are entirely separate. A Christian of "any other stripe" would first know that to appeal to Christ is the same as an appeal to God - and vice versa. Second - what EXACTLY is the OUTCOME of that 'hope' Tax. A true Christian would understand that OUTCOME, but I am not sure you do.
good on you....
Glenn Beck are you saved ???
Glenn Beck are you going to Heaven if you die today ???
Glenn Beck have you repented of your sins ???
Glenn Beck why are you still preaching Mormonism ???
Glenn Beck are you still a Mormon ???
Glenn Beck why are you equating Islam with Christianity ???
Glenn Beck why did you lie about which travel agency your followers would be using ???
Glenn Beck why did you not disclose that the travel agency belonged to the Mormon religion ???
Glenn Beck why did you go to Israel ???
Glenn Beck why did you have Mormon jack boots controlling your followers in Israel ???
and so on ...
you’re too focused on politics. You need to understand that the state of one’s soul is far more important than the advancement of conversative principles.
Therefore, Christians will always heed the call to rebuke false teachings, such as mormonism. Christians could care less about attacking individual mormons. However, when spiritual lives are at stake, Christians will stand up against spiritual errors even if that means correcting fellow political conservatives.
I hope you know now that the religion forum is part of “everything”.
When you open F.R. you probably get “everything” by default. I do not want “everything” when I open F.R. so here’s what I did.
First click “news/activism” from the right side of the main page, move your cursor to the URL, right click on it and select and click the word “copy”.
Minimize that window or exit from it. On your desk top select a clear area and right click, a window will open, one of the choices is, “create new short cut”, when the next window opens from that, right click the area that is the field for the URL of your new short cut, select the word “past” and you will have created a new icon on your desk top that takes you directly to “news/activism” and you will no longer get “everything”.
If you say that stuff to him, he won’t answer you and will call security.
What does that mean?
Didn’t Beck say while in Israel “three faiths one god”?
We already know that SLC and islam partner together quite frequently, probably because Joseph Smith said he would be the next mohammad.
“not to judge the teachings of Beck”
I didn’t say that, I said you can condemn them all day long without assigning his name to them. You are to condemn evil where ever you see it.
I encourage you to do so. You should condemn where ever you see sin, condemn the sin, please do.
