After reading your very informative post, I have to agree. Spitwads, thrown when the Epistles of Paul are given any sort of Scriptural importance. To say his name is to set off a wave of vitriol and accusations. Not any more. Not here, at least. Thanks again, boatbums
Hardly — the problem occurs when one rates Paul’s words over the words of Christ. Paul’s writings are scripture, but to quote Paul’s writings in opposition to the Gospels is just wrong. And that is what many do.
On the other hand there HAS been a gnostic-ish denial of the good of creation by some opposed to us.
So I'm not as uncomfortable as I might be.
