When Jewish scholars get in the fray, I'll probably become more curious. Their ancestors were involved in the matter and, AFAIK, mine weren't.
For now, in my eyes it is simply that, revisionism.
Well, that has to be one of the more interesting ways of dismissing reality. You wrote:
“As was mentioned previously on this sidebar, there remains considerable disagreement over this inquisition revisionism.”
Not really. Historians agree on what are and are not original sources. The original sources all agree that the numbers were extremely low. Thus, if someone disputes that he is not disputing revisionism. He is disputing clear historical evidence. Again, all historians agree on what are or are not original sources in these matters.
“When Jewish scholars get in the fray, I’ll probably become more curious.”
So, history only interests you when Jews are involved?
“Their ancestors were involved in the matter and, AFAIK, mine weren’t.”
So? Will the truth change just because Jews are involved? I guess only blacks can discuss the history of slavery?
“For now, in my eyes it is simply that, revisionism.”
Bigots often dismiss what they can’t deal with. And what a convenient excuse for you to not care, not be interested, not do research, etc.
