If you do not believe that you are saved by God’s grace, then it is impossible and pointless to discuss further.

I know that to be true. I just cut it off myself.
To: Mr Rogers
Grace is not a word meaning What God does in saving us. Scripture disagrees with you.

You cannot reject what you cannot accept. You're assuming that man is born in a nuetral has an opportunity to reject the gospel. What if there was nothing to reject? What if man was born in a state of constant rejection?

What if there was nothing to reject? What if there was a world without hypothetical questions?

“If you do not believe that you are saved by Gods grace, then it is impossible and pointless to discuss further.”
Where have I said that? Ever?

It is no more hypothetical than saying “What if man was born with a choice?”

Scripture disagrees with me? Where does it say that God’s grace is limited to his saving us? Where does it say the only good thing given by God is salvation?
Where does it say the Greek word for grace means only salvation?

I didn’t say it was limited to that—and neither did you in the post I quoted.

Please expand on why you think scripture disagrees with what I wrote.

You wrote 'Grace is not a word meaning What God does in saving us'
I say that grace does include that meaning. It's not limited to it, but it does include it.
So--grace is a word meaning Grace is not a word meaning What God does in saving us.

Fixed a typo. Sorry.

Dog means poodle.
No, a poodle is a dog, but the word dog does not mean poodle.
As I said in the post:
“Grace INCLUDES Gods unmerited mercy in justifying us, but it is not limited to that meaning. The grace of God in saving us is just a part of his grace. It isnt the whole.”

The only reason we have faith is because God gives us faith. And the only reason we are given faith is so that we might testify to God's mercy and show this mercy through our good works by our belief. It is not anything we have done including anything we may "choose". All that we do is as filthy rags before God.
