In short, I agree. Romney’s loyalty is NOT with America when it is in conflict with the Mormon Church.

I will never vote for him even if I have to write in.

****

...than it seems you would have sided with King Herod when they feared in their day the birth of Jesus Christ and sent out his soldiers to kill all baby boys under the age of two because Herod feared Jesus would grow up to be King

What the ignorance King Herod & people did not understand it was not for this temporal earthly kingdom.

Same with the covenants the LDS makes with the Lord is to keep His commandments the same covenants the LDS strive to keep which makes them good neighbors

There is only one King, Lord Jesus Christ whose Kingdom is not of this world!

...sadly many will still continue to embrace disinformation
about the LDS!

Look. I’m going to be respectful and not get into what the Temple Ceremony (Endowment) demands of your allegiance because I realize that it is sacred to you. Even if I don’t believe, I respect your beliefs even though you are tossing around conclusory statements that would, typically, demand an examination of those beliefs. And it would cause us to engage in the specifics of the various aspects of the Temple Ceremony. As I say ... I will not do that out of respect.

But your comparison to me as a follower of Herod and, essentially, Mitt Romney as a latter-day Jesus Christ is utterly bizarre and misses the mark. And it only further solidifies my belief that I would vote for Roger Rabbit before I would vote for Mitt Romney.

You seem to have forgotten that Joseph Smith declared himself King.

And the second endowment makes people kings and queens also.

William Marks…stated that the [LDS] Council of Fifty performed an ordinance “in which Joseph suffered himself to be ordained a king, to reign over the house of Israel forever.”Some have been uncomfortable with the assertion that Smith became a king. They have claimed that Marks and other critics either confused or misrepresented Smith’s reception of the strictly religious ceremony of the second anointing as “king and priest.”…

In fact a later revelation to the Council of Fifty affirmed that God called Smith “to be a Prophet, Seer and Revelator to my Church and Kingdom; and to be a King and Ruler over Israel.” (The Mormon Hierarchy, Origins of Power, 124)
