Is this common belief that it is the same thing in the NT? All the Gospels, Pauline God used the Incarnation to make the Jews jealous?Iscool: Nope...The theme of the Bible is the Kingdom...The Jewish Kingdom..
In the NT, same thing.Only after the Jews rejected Jesus did he turn to us Gentiles...And that was only to make his chosen people jealous, for a time...
When God is done letting the Jews learn their lesson, he will take us Gentiles out of the way by way of the Rapture and will again turn to his chosen, the Jews...
The theme of the Bible is not salvation for mankind....
I know this would differ from the beliefs of strict fundamentalists or calvinists, correct? But is this dispensationalist belief?
As with other beliefs of Iscool, this one has the basics more or less correct but the end result is completely off base. For example, the idea that the Scriptures have the Jewish Kingdom as their focus is erroneous from a Dispensation view because we believe that the Scriptures have God’s mercy towards us as it’s central theme. Dispensational theory just shows the different ways He has shown us that mercy throughout time. The reason we believe that the last dispensation will deal more with the Jews than us is simply because we believe the Church to have been Raptured and removed previously. We, the Church, are part of the white horse army seen following Christ during His return in Revelation prior to the judgment of the nations over their treatment of Israel.
