AS to types of sins . . . Scripture says if we’ve committed one, its the same as though we’d committed them all.
Show me a man who honestly believes he deserves to go to Hell but is truly thankful for God’s Grace that will gain him entrance to Heaven and I’ll show you a Christian. The gutters are full of men like that but many times, the churches are not.
We want to coddle people to make them feel good. A man that feels good has no need for a Savior.
It would go well for you to dismiss the ramblings of John Knox and Barnhouse and accept the true word of Jesus renouncing sinful prideful interpretations for which you will be held accountable at the judgment. Spiritual inadequacies are quite evident in your posts.

Based on your rejection of both Knox and Barnhouse, I take it you reject the Doctrines of Grace. Is that correct? Do you believe Calvinism is damnable heresy?
Out of curiousity, where would one uncover the “true word of Jesus?”
And why do you have a problem with a minister teaching a bible study in New York City?
It is not the measure of quoting scripture that God desires it is the ability to discern scripture and to apply it in our lifestyles free from sinful prideful interpretations which seem to dominate the psyche of the Sola Scriptura ilk.

NEVERTHELESS, it is STILL very hazardous to get on a PERSONAL HIGH HOBBY HORSE out of a PERSONAL pique, self-righteousness etc. and in fleshly critical judgment judge her or the Pope or the pedophile priests or anyone else.
Sometimes the line does seem thin. When it’s thin, the hazards are multiplied.
THE ATTITUDES AND MOTIVES OF THE HEART ARE SUPER CRUCIAL TO BE RIGHT BEFORE GOD IN SUCH MATTERS.
In my experience, those quickest to dogpile onto a rock-throwing brigade are those who’ve never had their own sins and sinfulness rubbed relentlessly into their noses, face, hearts, minds, lives.
In a sense, Jim Baker was exceedingly right. PRISON WAS GOD’S GRACE TO HIM. It brought him to himself; to his knees; to humility and vulnerability before God—and to a quality of Salvation and brokenness and contriteness before God he’d not ever have experienced otherwise.
We are ALL sinful creatures. Scripture says that those who think otherwise are deceived liars.
Scripture says we all see through the glass darkly.
Scripture says we all fall short of The Gospel.
In a sense, such facts could silence all of us from saying any exhortive, negative thing about anyone, to any degree, for any reason.
Yet, God and His Word require us to warn a brother; speak the truth in love; exhort the faithful and the sinner; cry the alarm etc.
That can be a frightfully humbling mandate given all the givens.
Yet, God also classes cowards with the homosexuals and others condemned.
At some point, there’s no hiding, shirking from the tasks of affirmation, declaration God calls us to. And, yes, the best preachers I’ve ever known could often be seen preaching at themselves and noting it in the process.
In my case, I can only earnestly seek to write as God lays it on my heart as best as I can discern such and deliver such to the reader. I know I’ll miss the mark of the high calling frequently. Yet, I must press on. God knows my heart. He knows my desire to be right before Him; to Love Him and others—including all the RC’s hereon.
Life and reality = a multi-dimensional mine field of values, truth, deceptions, hypocrisies etc.
Yet, into the fray God calls us and places us all.
Those who cannot discern the difference between flesh-driven, personal/organizational idolatrous pique rock throwing vs
declaring Biblical and reality truth out of a good heart and motivation . . .
probably should shut-up until they can.
One could almost as justifiably say that one didn’t any further need the exhortations, examples and prophecies of Scripture . . . but that would be wrong.
God sends many inputs for our edification and growth.
I have no need to reject any of them.

You still haven't answered the valid question If the prosperity gospel is for real and these “ministers” are legitimate, why don’t they take it to the poor nations of Asia and Africa? Just think, if they could find enough people with sufficient faith to sow a $40/month seed, send in their “first fruits” offering, they could transform entire continents -- why haven't they?
