If you would, please, tell them they are saved by their Baptism in the Catholic Church. Once baptized — they are always a Catholic.

They are only inactive Catholics at the present.

Odd. I thought that, once baptized, the man or woman became not Catholic, but a Christian, wearing the name of Christ, sharing in his death and resurrection through immersion into water, and not through any benediction of man or his institution.

So if one is always Catholic after being baptized at the baptismal font, does that comport to once saved, always saved?
