Do you take kindly to anyone who might belittle your mother?

I KNOW that Christ does not. People who do not honor Christ’s mother will suffer his just judgement.

Commonly known as the "step on a crack" Marian apologetic.

"All I have to ask you is one question - did you hurt my Mama?"

No one belittled Mary, unless of course someone sees Mary as a goddess...

Apparently you mean, as the Christ crowned Queen of Heaven...

Jesus never mentions any such thing in the scriptures...In fact, Jesus does his best to steer us away from any kinds of ideas we may have that lean in that direction...

We are in no kind of judgment for not placing Mary on the pedestal that you guys have placed her on...

No, but then I am a sinful man, not the sinless Son of God. I would like to be more Christlike; I'm not sure that I am ready to attribute to Christ my sinful reactions based on my human frailties.

Somehow, I can't imagine the teenage Jesus being goaded into a fight because someone told him his mother wore army boots.

I also wouldn’t take kindly to someone misrepresenting my mother.

It must break Mary’s heart to so how some have turned her into a demi-goddess in a misguided attempt to shift the focus off the real Savior - her son.

That’s an earthly catholic interpretation of a mother. Read who Jesus says His mother is - and reminder HE is not a respector of persons in His Kingdom. I’m amazed how little catholics know about God’s Word. It’s all that man made teaching that nullifies God’s Word - that they walk in such darkness.
