Beck's Bogus Beliefs
March 2011
by T. A. McMahon
"Glenn Beck, the television and radio talk show host who is best known for his conservative political views, isn't someone whom we would normally address in our newsletter. Our concerns are usually directed at individuals, programs, or organizations that promote spiritual or theological views contrary to the Word of God. Beck, of late, seems to be making himself at home in that realm, and he's attracting many who call themselves Bible-believing Christians. ...
First of all, Glenn Beck is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He may refer to himself as a Christian, but he's certainly not a biblical Christian. The distinction is as wide as hell is from heaven: "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God" (2 John:9). Mormon doctrine is "another gospel" that exalts "another Jesus." Both false beliefs came out of the deceived and deceiving mind of Joseph Smith. Secondly, "our country" doesn't have "Christian roots," even though some are claiming that our founding fathers were true Christians. Many were not biblical Christians but Christians in name only, who followed the faith of Deism, Masonry, and the philosophy of the Enlightenment. Any early influence in America's history of a biblical nature very likely came from the Pilgrims and the Puritans...."
Nothing is more important than someone’s future destination.
Heh heh, funny!

We had all better hang together, or we all may hang separately!
Hm. If you’re a Presbyterian, you should accept predestination: however we hang, it will be as the Lord ordains, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
And again, Romney is not the nominee, nor is he the only electable candidate. We don’t have to hang on his behalf.
Spring 2007, everyone KNEW it was going to be Hillary v. Giuliani.
Great home page!
Thank you for your service!
Back to this statement. Do you have a reference for that?
Thank you
Job 17:3 Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who [is] he [that] will strike hands with me?
Job 17:4 For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt [them].
Pro 22:26 Be not thou [one] of them that strike hands, [or] of them that are sureties for debts.
Fabian doesn’t have the answer, but Roy Masters does...And because he does, the forces of evil have been after him for 40 or so years, you know how they do ( the John Birch Society anyone?)...calling him a cult, all kinds of things, but he wont’ go away....check him out...
Where is Jesus? That’s the point.
ooo, that was a dig...what answer is it that I do not have? I think I have defended the real Roy rather well, thank God.
I’ve learned...
That to ignore the
Facts does not
Change the facts.
Oh, I misread something.
My opinion about trust is based on multiple personal experiences in the business AND the spiritual world. So, what did YOUR elders tell you today? Be dramatically shocked and dismayed at the “haters”, and to call someone’s statement “idiotic”? It is an opinion- based on fact. And I tell you and FRs on this thread, trust is an issue, perhaps not on the individual basis, but in totality it becomes an issue.
It is instructional to understand the system of mormon ELDERS who tell their flock what to do. As in any theocracy (read: Utah even with all of it’s substantial societal benefits) there are usually warp-ohs at the top. LDS is no different. However, when you delve into the theology, the “mirroring” and then altering of Christian and biblical scripture (with a “new, better translation” self serving to one Joseph Smith) and kook theology as a new testament, you have the basis of falsehood to support a lack of trust in behaviour, motivation and in this case, political power. Better to view this like one would Scientology, and stay free to choose.
RomneyCare is the reality of Romney’s desire for power... and he is a RINO by definition because of it. There are no perfect candidates, but Jim DeMint is on the right track- Romney doesn’t fully deny RomneyCare he can forget about true Conservative support, and if you don’t have the South now, you don’t win the nation. My point about Beck/Romney et al is, again:
“Religion is political in all reality, so this discussion is of merit as an opposing scriptural view, and examining the interesting nature of Becks conversion, which is human. Much in the same way Beck has examined Soros. For Biblical Christians both these individuals bear watching.”
Aside from that Beck’s radio show is puerile, and largely unintelligible, with very little useful content, and a lot of hucksterism. Deo Vindice (in general, but not the Deo on the planet Kolob)
It is scriptural analysis, whether valid or not. There also no shortage of anti-catholic, anti-jew, you name it propagandists on the net. It is valid, however to expose the theological points that should bear examination. Not to draw moral equivalence, but maybe bring out who/what a religion is all about. You know, like “islam the religion of peace”— yeah, right. In terms of national leadership and our Founders it is essential if we are to take our Constitutional Republic back, without the baggage of religious nuts.
Hey MORMONs!
Which one of PD's links contains the instructions for Temple Rituals?
