If John Paul’s beatification --- part of the path to sainthood--- takes place as scheduled on May 1, it will have been the fastest in history

Anthony of Lisbon (or Padua) is known to have become the "quickest" saint in the history of the Catholic Church because he was canonized by Pope Gregory IX less than one year after his death on the 30th of May of 1232.

Had the author done his homework he would mostly find that many of the more orthodox seminaries are bursting at the seams with young seminarians and a waiting list for many.
