There was no condemnation in his statement, nor was there a perverting of Scripture.
What IS happening is some posters blowing comments and posts OUT OF PROPORTION to the rules in order to target certain individuals so as to kick them off a thread. IMO. (Opinions are allowed so not ‘making it personal’).
RM: Perhaps this type of behavior should be addressed in the rules as well? I’ve been seeing this a lot lately on the religion forum. Only a suggestion, I know you’ve got a lot on your plate.
I haven’t targeted anyone. Compared to some users, I’ve barely been on this thread. But as a FR veteran, I don’t take kindly to people twisting my words and making the subject about me instead of the bogus subject that this thread started on in the first place. I mean, I set the record straight back in post #24, and as Cronos has correctly pointed out above, this thread has devolved into another flame-fest.
Another time that CG is ascribing motive “ in order to target certain individuals so as to kick them off a thread. “ —> this is “pretending to read minds” and against Forum rules. This is one of the multiple times by the poster who has had posts pulled for inflammatory posts on this and other threads from banned sites, for personal insults and for reading minds.
There sure seems to be a concerted, ?organized? effort to REVISIONISTLY MISLABEL Proddy posts AS THOUGH they violated rules when they obviously didn't . . . toward an effort to
!!!!FORCE!!!! . . . !!!!DEMAND!!!! that the FR Rel Forum CONFORM to Vatican sensibilities and tissue paper thin-skins.
How can such underhanded, dishonest, dirty tricks stuff be justified by folks claiming to be ANY KIND of "Christian?"
