Actually, that statement should not be a surprise to anyone who has perused the Roman Catholic Catechism, which teaches such.

Case in point:

841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

I just don't get this one. Who are these people who call themselves Christians and yet believe Christ was a sinner???

And yet I'd bet the majority of those same people believe Mary was sinless.

Ugh.

72% of Protestants vs 42% of [Roman et al] Catholics affirmed that homosexual sexual activity was sinful.

And that's why we're in the sad state we're in today. Rome has institutionalized homosexuality in its priestcraft and therefore Rome continues to recruit and defend homosexuals.

Rome's denial of this fact is contradicted by the evidence. Rome says the church has only recently been infiltrated by homosexuals. But for centuries Rome has sheltered, promoted, encouraged and hidden men who believe themselves to be "another Christ" in "both their private and public lives," according to Father Kenneth Baker.

The sad irony of that last statement is not lost on most of us. "Another Christ" in his "private life."

What terrible, centuries-old arrogance and deceit.
