Luther loved the church, he loved it enough to put his life on the line to reform it.. but like the others..He did not love it more than he loved Christ and the gospel

This is the same kind of intellectually dishonest propaganda that the liberals smear Columbus with.

Just as Columbus wasn't looking to start the slave trade and oppress the peaceful natives, Luther didn't intend on starting his own denomination.

The issue was settled for him when the Catholic church ex-communicated him for wanting to go back to the Scriptural principles that the Roman Catholic church claimed it was founded on. Indeed the Bible that it and Catholics today, claim it wrote.

How revealing is that? To condemn a man for wanting to simply get back to what the church claims gave it its authority in the first place.
