I don’t put my faith in any worldly organization.

How about the Church that wrote (the NT), preserved and canonized the Bible?

Without faith in this organization, how would you know about Jesus?

The Catholic church is not responsible for writing the Bible, nor for preserving it. God did that in spite of the Catholic church, not because of it. What was considered Scripture was considered Scripture long before the organization which became the Catholic church compiled the NT.

The Catholic church cannot take any credit for any of the OT, even though Catholics continually try to do that by implication when they claim the Catholic church WROTE the Bible. The OT predates the Catholic church by many centuries.

Without faith in this organization, how would you know about Jesus?

We'd have Scripture anyway. We don't believe Scripture because we trust the Catholic church, that's for sure. It's not based on their say so.

What was recognizes as Scripture was recognized as such before the Catholic church got its hands on it.

Both these questions still carry the implication that the Bible is the work of the church and therefore subservient to it. That is so backwards.

And then went totally off kilter with a sinless Mary, the bodily assumption of Mary, the idea that Peter was the first Pope, the veneration of relics etc.

I trust that God has kept for us the original inspired writings. The original gatherings of what the apostles called the church has little resemblance to what the RCC has become today. One needs to watch as churches stray from the original as most organized churches of today have.

The NT was written by the NT church and recognized long before the Roman Catholic church existed..

If the Catholic church was responsible for the bible..they did a terrible job putting their doctrine in it.. there is no pope, no priesthood,no confession,no mass, no indulgences, no assumption, no prayers to saints or Mary, no relics, no celibacy and most of all it teaches clearly salvation by faith alone..

The Roman Catholic church bears no resemblance to the NT church.. not one wit

Does the church consider itself Paul who wrote half of the NT? Does the your church consider itself the HOLY SPIRIT which led Paul in his writing? GOD PRESERVES HIS OWN WORD and it was from THE BEGINNING.

James 1:6 "But when you ask HIM, be sure that YOUR FAITH IS IN GOD ALONE. Do not waver, for a person with DIVIDED LOYALTY is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind".

James 1:7 "That man should NOT think he will receive ANYTHING from the Lord;"

James 1:8 "he is a DOUBLE-MINDED man, UNSTABLE in all he does".
