for a newbie you sure do demand a lot
if you can’t understand the english language, maybe you shouldn’t be posting on here. just saying. something tells me from reading her past posts, boatbums is smart enough to answer the question. she might not, because the answer blows away her statement that the Church teaches we are saved by our good works, rather than by grace alone, but al least she understands the question.
did you understand the question in post #439?
“Catholics believe Scripture and follow it. We do not believe in Sola Scriptura.”
Well, that’s interesting, since Scripture fails to source or teach many things that the Roman Catholic Church teaches. So, that statement is meaningless.
“Ill play tomorrow, maybe.”
And you’ll still be wrong.
Have a nice Super Bowl.

i think they read them, they just pretend they don’t!
In other words I really do not have information to counter the article
I've got to attend to other things, so this is my last post on the thread. Feel free to FReepmail me if you'd like.
No surprise..
They tend to do that most of the time, n00b or not.
;D

give us a break already
LOL! The Mormons can’t produce anyone who shares their belief before the 19th century and you can’t produce anyone sharing your belief before the 16th century, says it all. come on, don’t you want to try a drag out St Augustine, like some do?
***First, Catholics are not idolators and I wont have a discussion any further with that type of blatant lie.****
There is a very fine line between veneration and worship.
If you asked a Baal worshiper (or an Aztec)why they worship the gods made of stone and wood they would tell you that those idols merely represent whom they worship and are not “gods” themselves.
This is what some RCs have said in the past on FR about their statues, they are represations of whom they venerate.
When Cortez took Mexico he burned the statues of the Aztec gods and forbade the worship of idols.
He then set up a statue of MARY and fell down before it. To the pagan Aztecs this showed them HE could “worship” his iDOLL but they could not theirs!
1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
Consider this..
Num 21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
Num 21:9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
2Ki 18:4 He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
And this..
Judges 17. Micah the Ephramite stole his mother’s money, then returned it to her so she could build molten and graven idols which she dedicated to the LORD GOD.
He even got a Levite for priest to officiate over it.
Hsa 4:17 Ephraim [is] joined to idols: let him alone.
Hsa 4:18 Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers [with] shame do love, Give ye.
Hsa 5:3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, [and] Israel is defiled.
You provided no links. There was nothing to click on to take us to the aforementioned thread.
Lots of threads go past 125 responses. Without more specifics, like which thread it clearly is, it's meaningless.
Provide active links or forget anyone bothering with it. We're not doing your work for you.
Mind reading. Again.
Looks like they are performing to standard and acting to norm.

Strange that there is not a single word of that in God’s word...
Plagiarism = bad
I have heard it said that the gospel offends..if it does not offend it is not the gospel
“Mind reading. Again”
Nope — she’s just stating the obvious.
Sometimes the truth hurts.
