Ping for later.
No, my heart went out to you because you said you didnt know the RCC believes that Mary was born sinless. Or did you not realize what you were saying in that reply either.
By the way, here is the entirety of the post 125 you told me the statement that I made.

Just like Paul, Luther is OK when it suits a Catholic’s purpose.
You can’t quite tell if he’s the hero or the goat.

>>because we believe the Church is the pillar of truth<<
Is this the church you belong to? http://www.truegospelofjesus.org/Pastor.htm

Dont try to tell us that I made statements I didnt.
They can’t even keep their stories straight in witnessing against a no-Catholic.
Where have we seen that before?
Oh yeah.....

He actually tried to claim I said something that someone else must have posted. Actually there was a post the I had asked him if that was his church.
I saw what he posted upthread, but without active links, there was no way to go back and verify what he said. ANd if he isn’t going to provide links to things, I’m not going back and hunting it down. If he wants people to see stuff, he can provide links himself, just like the rest of us do.
The posts he cited are not necessarily part of the same conversation. I have every reason to believe you over someone who tosses out snippets of unsubtantiated accusations via quote mining.
Well, there's your first mistake. The "church" is not a "where" it is a "who" as in a spiritual body of believers in the Savior Jesus Christ. They are everywhere and in every place. It is those who boastfully claim to belong to "the One, True, Only" organization, relying upon this membership to be their salvation, that are NOT a part of the one, true, only SPIRITUAL body of Christ - and that is the REAL one.
Welcome to the club.
I've had people ragging on me about the divinity of Christ based on something someone thought I may have said or not said at some point some time ago.
Yes, including the newly unmasked.
Manipulation seems to be a sacrament in the RCC.
Openly asking something for the first time is manipulation? Methinks that a bunch of you guys have something to hide and are ashamed of their faith.
The toes!!! I forgot about the toes. Can you ever forgive me?
>> I have every reason to believe you over someone who tosses out snippets of unsubtantiated accusations via quote mining.<<
I cant find where he even got that line. I certainly wouldnt have made it because I belong to no organized religion.
Exactly - Just like Paul. “If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord”. Rom 14:8 Win win either way. That Scripture came to mind when thinking of Paul.
Considering the thread - Reformation, I chose Luther and him being enslaved by those RCC heresy teachings.
If you have a Bible in your own language, and enjoy to read and study Gods Word, never forget that you owe that Bible to the Reformation. Brave men and women died that you could have the freedom to delight in Gods Word.
If you know the joy of sins forgiven and new life in Christ, if you are walking by faith and enjoying peace with God, never forget that you owe this priceless privilege to the Reformation.
If you enjoy Church services, Scripture choruses, Hymns, prayers and sermons in your own language, remember that for this you are also indebted to the Reformation.
If you appreciate the Biblical and practical sermons of your pastor, and his counsel, never forget that for this you are indebted to the Reformation. The Reformation is the source of many blessings. We need to ask if we are on the side of the Reformers, or of those who burned them and the Bible. Contend earnestly for the Faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. Jude 3
